Akshay act was not vulgar
by Rajinder Katoch on 2009-04-09 13:58:07.170204+05:30 Refer an article in all leading newspapers, Akshay Twinkle may be arrested. It seems the social activist Nair has lost his way. Last year in a similar show when a model unbuttoned Akshay’s Levis jean, no one objected. The show and the act were even then and now are planned. Even if it is not planned, Akshay has asked his wife to unbutton his jean which is morally much better than asking someone to do the same. I advise social activists to limit their actions to important social issues like poverty, rain water harvesting, rural education, senior citizens’ security etc and not indulge in gaining cheap popularity adopting such methods. Before blotting our film stars, Mr. Nair must understand that because of these top cine stars, bollywood is booming as an industry and employing more and more. Today, the producers have the potential to call Hollywood stars to India and dance to their need. The law must not accept any opposition against any plea of Mr. Nair as on vulgarity scale, the act of Akshay is not at all vulgar. Rajinder KatochNew Delhi

AN AVERAGE MAN'S SENLESS ACT
by Devadas on 2009-04-09 10:19:57.077796+05:30 Having involved in the Mumbai film industry where ego, sex, drug, and backbitting dominates, Akshay has easily assimilated into such a culture. His acted as if he has been acting in a porono. He lost his sensory perceptibility. Such people should be barred from the industry itself. Otherwise those kids and even adults who are his fans think what he does is right out of their sheer addiction. Be wise and judge what is right and wrong, then protest against all such unacceptable animal instincts and protect our culture and dharma.

by k s prakash on 2009-04-03 14:13:29.417097+05:30 Thank God! Akky did not involve in this act at "Padma Awards" Ceremony. GOI would have scrapped his PadmaShree and awarded PadmaBhushan instead for his innovative and brave act.

Obscenity
by Divyesh Ray on 2009-04-02 19:55:23.622839+05:30 It looks very cheap for Akshay and Twinkle to unbutton on a ramp in public. Both should be held equally responsible for the act and punished to set an example to others. Our film stars misbehave several times in public as if they are special in the society. People know very well what is going on in film industry. Akshay-Twinkle act is degrading entire industry. Shame on both.

Akshay's action
by ak on 2009-04-02 15:01:32.755423+05:30 Whats wrong in Akshay's action? Indians have come a long way discarding Indian manners considered to be good and copying any junk western act. The day is not far when a Padmashree awardee with no cloths on will entertain the Indian public.

1 Indians should stop pleasing actors and politicians - These creatures are lowering the IQ of whole generation.
by Dee on 2009-04-03 04:16:09.748936+05:30Who were the stupids, choosing this actor to be awarded with PadamShree? Instead give these awards to NGO workers who spent their lives in fields for helping others. Also it will encourage the young generation to serve country, not to act like this creepy creature.
