It seems the social activist Nair has lost his way. Last year in a similar show when a model unbuttoned Akshay’s Levis jean, no one objected. The show and the act were even then and now are planned. Even if it is not planned, Akshay has asked his wife to unbutton his jean which is morally much better than asking someone to do the same. I advise social activists to limit their actions to important social issues like poverty, rain water harvesting, rural education, senior citizens’ security etc and not indulge in gaining cheap popularity adopting such methods. Before blotting our film stars, Mr. Nair must understand that because of these top cine stars, bollywood is booming as an industry and employing more and more. Today, the producers have the potential to call Hollywood stars to India and dance to their need.
