Priyadarshan is certainly one of the busiest filmmakers in Bollywood. Priyan, whose latest film ‘Billu’, opens across cinema halls tomorrow (Feb 13th) has quite a few interesting films lined up in the coming year.

While much is already known about his films such as ‘De Dana Dan’ (Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal) and ‘Bum Bum Bole’ (Darsheel Safary , there is yet another project that the filmmaker would start working on soon. The USP of this project is that it brings together Superstar of Hindi cinema Akshay Kumar and Superstar of Malayalam cinema Mohanlal for the first time ever.

Reporters spoke to Priyan who confirmed the same. "Yes apart from ‘De Dana Dan’ which is 50 % complete, I am working on one more film with Akshay Kumar. The (untitled) project would star Akshay along with Mohanlal and six other actors. The film is a one and a half hour film on AIDS awareness. It is an original concept and not a remake of any of my South Indian films"

The buzz is that Akshay has waived off his fees to be part of this socially relevant film. "Yes the film's budget is just Rs.1 crore...so yes he has been kind enough", smiles the director.

The film, which goes on floors in April this year, is produced by Percept Picture Company. Interestingly Priyan has a 3 film deal with Percept which also includes the horror flick ‘Grrr...’

Must say Priyan is one director who believes in working non-stop without a break!
