Agyaat
T-Series, Rs 160
Functional songs that are marked by cluttered sound and mediocre singing by non-singers mark Agyaat’s music. Wanna wanna kiss you day and night is an unapologetic rework of Zara zara touch me from Race. Shweta Pandit’s vocals shine in Khubsoorat, which sounds suspiciously similar to a recent song. A mediocre outing that is best avoided.

The Most Popular Caller Tunes Ever
Universal, Rs 250
Songs from the ’70s and ’80s are featured on this album with a bonus offer to the buyer to download 10 ringtones. The films whose songs are featured here include Blackmail, Qurbani, Jawani Diwani, Chalte Chalte, Gambler, Amar Akbar Anthony, Julie and many more favourites dominated by R.D.Burman and Rajesh Roshan.

Tajalli…Essence Of Sufism
Saregama, Rs 175
Anita Singhvi presents eight traditional songs of varied hues with pleasant compositions and arrangements. The sources clearly are traditional. Anita does a neat job as a singer, but she could have paid much more attention to expression rather than just technical perfection. Woh mast aankhen is the standout track.
