Fardeen Khan has become the latest Bollywood star after Shah Rukh Khan to lend his name to a real estate project in the UAE.

The actor at a ceremony in neighbouring emirate of Ajman to introduce the exclusive unveiling of the ‘Crescent Star’ project, a 33-storey apartment hotel, said ‘I am delighted to be involved in such an exciting project.’

‘Whenever I feel to take a break from films, I find Ajman, the perfect location to relax and take time out of the hectic schedule,’ Khan said.

The ‘Crescent Star’ project, located inside Marmooka City, is 30 minutes away from Dubai Airport.

Saeed Currimjee, the managing partner of Al Jabal Real Estate said: ‘This is the first development where investors can literally earn by the day in the hotel sector and not be subject to the real estate market fluctuations. There is a shortage of hotel rooms in the UAE and average room rate of USD 283 in Dubai is among the highest in the world.’

Super star Shah Rukh Khan recently teamed up with a UAE-based real estate firm to launch a USD 2.17 billion signature beachfront residential project in the gulf country.
