Bollywood's 'Mr Perfectionist' Aamir Khan is facing pre-release jitters again. This time it is for the much anticipated film 'Three Idiots' and it is tempting the actor to break his 'No Smoking' resolution.

The superstar has just wrapped up filming for the movie which is based on Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel 'Five Point Someone' and is nervous about the audience's reaction to the ambitious project.

"The last one week has been very busy with 3 Idiots work. The final song is done and now the cut is locked too. I think we have managed to make the film that we set out to. As you can well imagine the good old butterflies have begun to spread their wings once again and their feathery touch has started to tickle my insides," wrote Aamir on his blog.

And with the film readying for release, Aamir is tempted to snuff out the tension with a cigarette, despite kicking the butt earlier.

"Am tempted to try and snuff them out with smoke from a fresh B&H, but I won’t. I think this time I have quit for good. So please ignore media reports about me smoking," wrote Aamir.

The film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also stars

Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan, Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.

No Smoking! by R. Kapoor on 2009-10-16 20:21:21.323838+05:30 From an occasional cigerette in my teens, to reach a pack a day, then reducing to half-pack. This continued for many years thereafter. It in 1992, after nearly smoking for 36 years, I decided to give up smoking on my birthday. The decision to stop was based on many factors, no smoking in office, no smoking at home, and no smoking in another person's home, and everytime I had to light a cigerette I had to go out of the office/house onto the street and puff up the tobacco. Cough, sinus, and other ailments were up. And, nothing could have been a better gift to myself was to stop smoking. I substituted a smoke with sugarless gum, until the habit was completely gone. It is now over 17 years, that I have touched a cigerette. Good for me, good for everybody. Start the process of smoking out four walls, restrict to three cigerettes a day, one after every meal, and slowly go to two, and finaly none. You will be a winner. God Bless!
