Action film
The Suriya-Nayantara film Aadhavan, which hit screens on Diwali day, has got a great opening all over. Directed by K.S.Ravikumar and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, the film is an action flick with romance, sentiments and humour. Set against Kolkata, Aadhavan tells the story of a professional killer named Aadhavan (Suriya), working for Ibrahim Rowther (Sayaji Shinde), who had brought him up like his own son. The story takes a twist after Aadhavan is assigned the job of killing a judge (played by the late Murali). The film has all the ingredients that would appeal to die-hard fans of Suriya, including song-dance sequences shot abroad and fast-paced action sequences. Added to this is the comedy track provided by Vadivelu and also Suriya’s excellently performed comedy.
