The documentary is based on the incredible life of the distinguished musician, from early adolescence to present times when he has received acclaim and plaudits the world over. Aptly titled Antardhwani, the visual journey captures vignettes of a life devoted to music, especially to the santoor, with interviews of Panditji interspersed with music. Dr. Jabbar Patel has directed the film.

Journey With A Hundred Strings, a memoir on the maestro’s life and times was released a decade ago on his 60th birthday. Antardhwani is co-produced by Ina Puri. The film was screened at the Mini Hall of the P.L. Deshpande Sabhagriha in Mumbai.
