Work is worship
Jay Soni aka Bunty of Remote Control that is aired on 9X has had to work more since the show has become a bi-weekly. Unused to the fast pace, the actor who is also working in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, fell sick recently. Though he was down with high fever the youngster didn’t let it stop him from working. Says Jay, “We had to shoot a rain sequence wherein I was required to shoot for four hours at a stretch and to make matters worse it was an early shift, which I could not afford to delay or miss so I just went ahead and finished the shoot forgetting that I ‘m in poor health.” Bravo!

Munisha magic
Teen Deviyaan, the astro-numerological show on Star News has just got a glamorous face-lift. New graphics and visuals have been designed and there’s a new title montage introducing the three hosts. Munisha Khatwani who does tarot-card reading on the show is excited about the change. “The channel will be promoting the show in a big way and we will be including celebrity birthdays and their traits also,” she smiles. The actress is also doing a comedy show for Star, the pilot of which will be shot this week. Isn’t she interested in being a part of the more popular saas-bahu sagas? “I am but I have to get something unique because I am already booked 12 days a month for Teen Deviyaan. I am more interested in doing a reality show,” she quips having got a taste of it last December when she was in Mauritius. “It was a knowledge-based quiz show and aired in UK,” she informs.
The actress was one of the seven TV stars to have walked the ramp for Shaina NC’s event recently. The proceeds of the show are being donated to the Breast Cancer Association.
