Kudos to Deepa Karmalkar and Priyanka Sinha for highlighting their in-depth incisive interview with Salman Khan, the heart-throb of millions. I was floored by Salman’s interview and have chalked out a couple of points that are to be noted. Firstly, Salman adores his parents. Salman tussi great ho!. Secondly, he is not a God-fearing person (he avoids wrong-doings), but God-loving. Thirdly is the secret of fitness (if he indulges in extra eating, he burns out the calories by painfully exercising in the gym). Fourthly, he is a man of words and maintains deep relationships with trade people. He is a human being to the core and believes in helping others,
It may be noted that Umang, a school for handicapped children in Jaipur run by Bina Kak has benefited a lot from Salman’s charities. Finally, his fans will be happy to know that Salman will get married in 2009. They are eager to see him settled in life.
In the minds of us Rajasthanis, Salman will ever remain a romantic hero, with his debut in the Rajshri family film drama, Maine Pyar Kiya, at the young age of seventeen. For long a moody, temperamental and ‘misunderstood’ Salman will now be a far better understood person. In my eyes, he is, thanks to the informative interview, getting better week-by-week.
