Technical expertise
Without any pretensions Shakthi Chidambaram made this family drama interspersed with some bawdy comic gags (Vivek in a dual role), songs and frequent fight sequences at his targeted audiences - the masses. Borrowing the idea from earlier such films, he makes the mother-in-law character sing and dance along with the hero. Sundar C. seems to have hit the jackpot one more time in a tailor-made role. Ragini has nothing much to do with emoting and Namitha has done what is required from her from the script - sensuality. Dhina’s music rocks and Sundar C. rendered a song, Vaadi en kappakilzhage showcasing yet another facet of his.
Verdict
One star for Sundar C. and one star for Shakthi Chidambaram for his fast paced narration.
