




Purshottam Bisawa, maker of serials like Idhar Kamal Udhar Kamal, Yeh Dhartee Hindustan Ki and Lady Inspector has announced his first Rajasthani film Jai Dadhi Mata. Upasna Singh, Rajendra Singh, Sunny Agarwal and Rajesh Puri are to star in the mythological to be shot at the Dadhimati Mata temple in Nagaur district of Rajasthan.
Meanwhile the shooting of another mythological Raja Mordhawaj, being produced under the banner of AV Seema Films, has been completed. Produced by Anand Arora and Ashwani Arora, it is written and directed by lyricist Dalpat Parihar and stars Asha Panchal, Naveen Borana, Kaluram Prajapati, Rajesh Sharma, Satyen Vyas, and Chanchal Bohra.
After the success of his debut film Jethwa Ujali, veteran Rajasthani filmmaker B.L. Mathur launched Tu Chanda Mein Chandni based on a Rajasthani folktale. While he will be directing and writing the script and lyrics as well as composing music for the film, new artistes will appear in various key roles. It will be shot at locations in prominent cities of Rajasthan.
Rajan Panwar, filmmaker of Jodhpur, has produced Mhari-Aakha-Teej to create awareness against the social evil of child marriages most prevalent in rural Rajasthan. It stars Aashish Vyas, Reena Soni, Karamveer Chowdhry and Shrawan Chowdhry. Kusum Entertainment has released the film on home video before its release in theatres.
