Others in the cast include Mukesh, Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Thalaivasal Vijay. Reports are that Nandita Das is playing a key role in the film. Aayirathil Oruvan release gets postponed
The release of Aayirathil Oruvan, the Selvaraghavan-directed Tamil film with Karthi in the lead, is getting delayed unduly. Karthi, who is actor Suriya’s brother and who had made his debut with the much-acclaimed Paruthiveeran, is eagerly awaiting the release of this second film of his, in which Reema Sen is his heroine.
Aayirathil Oruvan, which has been in the making for too long, has exceeded budget expectations in a big way and now there are contrasting reports coming up about the movie. While the makers say that the film will be released for Pongal, there are industry sources who sound sceptical about that and say that it may get delayed further as Selvaraghavan is already on to his next project, starring Vikram.
