Pakistani rockstar Najam Sheraz’s massive global hit Menu tere naal was rewritten as Bheege honth tere in the Mukesh Bhatt film Murder. Regarded as one of the most prolific musicians of Pakistan, he is soon launching a major album in India.

The album has been recorded in UK and has leading musicians performing on its 11 tracks including Khwabon ke rishtay, Dil tumhara bhi hai, Mahiya and a recreated version of Menu tere naal. The album has three videos including one shot in London and one in Australia. The album is being globally marketed by Frankfinn Entertainment.

Being a true artist, Najam Sheraz believes in the philosophy that spreading peace and harmony through music is a greater cause than simply composing music for entertainment. He believes that this approach generates music that is truly long-lasting. This is the reason why he is still around and growing as a musician ever since he began his musical journey in 1994 and is the only Pakistani artiste other than the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to feature in the original soundtrack of a major Hollywood production. He has featured on the original soundtrack of Twentieth Century Fox movie Split Wide Open. He has successfully performed at a variety of renowned music festivals such as the Bradford Festival, Oslo Music Festival, Norway, London Music Festival and many more.

His new album is an extension of his personality. It is an assortment of thought-provoking numbers, ballads and all other genres at which Najam Sheraz is a master. The track Dil tumhara bhi hai is a Hindi/English love ballad with Natalie Williams, a famous jazz singer, while Mahiya deals with women’s empowerment with the everlasting story of Heer-Ranjha as the backdrop.

The self-titled album features some renowned musicians like Chris Eaton as co-producer, Miles Bould, a legendary percussionist ,Dan Wheeler, a phenomenal sound creator with Guitars, Mark Edwards, a Jazz musician and a trippy programmer, Paul Evans on Drums, Matt Weeks and Collin on Bass and Colin Walker who engineered and recorded all live instruments with Paul Burton (Paulie Poppadom) The Mixer.
