Shernaz Patel is making a comeback of sorts with her new show on NDTV Imagine. Titled Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain the unique educational show aims to draw attention to the nuances of the English language. Shernaz is set to play an English teacher of a class of people looking to learn the language. Each of the students in the class hail from different parts of the country and from diverse social backgrounds like a salesman, a housewife, a business man, a working woman, a shopkeeper, a student among others.

“This show is about teaching people correct usage and grammar of English. And it extends this thoroughly researched curriculum of the language to the viewers too” elaborated Patel.

Being a drama teacher helped Patel cope with the demanding accuracy with which she has to work around the language in Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain. “The show does teach, but it does so in a light hearted way. One can say this show is one of those programmes where baaton baaton mein sab kucch seekha ja sakta hai” she opined.
