Adventures of the Ladies Tailor, named after the famous tattoo Arora brandishes on his arm, is the title of Discovery Travel and Living’s new show.
The six-episode series takes viewers on a colourful ride, deconstructing design in quintessential Arora style. Known for his penchant for shock-value, Arora meshes Indian Pop Art, 60s and 70s psychedelia and delightfully garish Bollywood influences to create dresses, pants, tunics, and just about everything else you can dream up on this show.
A perfect programme for those who eat, sleep and dream fashion, it will get you a sneak peak into Arora’s personal and social life as well. One of the episodes show him pick up his design wand to revamp his iconic Ambassador and turn it into a symbol of Indian kitsch and pop culture.
