Jeevanti’s Sur Bahar Chayi

Jeevanti organised Sur Bahar Chayi, an evening of Poetry, Literature and Music in Mumbai on January 27. Dr. Soma Ghosh, Benaras Gharana vocalist presented thumri, dadra, chaiti and ghazals and was interviewed by the renowned composer Shekhar Sen.
Shekhar Sen, who is also a singer, writer and actor on the Indian stage, was interviewed by the renowned writer Atul Tiwari. The ceremonial Lamp was lit by film producer Trinetra Bajpai. The chief guest was Yusuf Lakdawala and the evening was graced by Smt. Rani Poddar and Shri Kripashankar Singh. Jeevanti is the dream project of the famous poetess, Maya Govind.

Bhushan Kumar bags Glam Music Magnate Award
The Glam Awards have conferred the award of the Glam Music Magnate on Bhushan Kumar, the CMD of Super Cassettes Ind. Ltd. popularly known as T-Series. T-Series currently holds the audio rights to more than 60 per cent of the films in the market.

Two songs recorded for Karzzzz
Tulsi Kumar has recently recorded two duets with Himesh Reshammiya for Bhushan Kumar’s Karzzzz at Empire Studio. These are romantic numbers with one of them also having a Punjabi tenor. The songs were written by Sameer and tuned by Himesh Reshammiya. Satish Kaushik directs the film.
Tulsi Kumar, who was last heard with Himesh in Tadap from Darling has sung in Tom Dick And Harry , Aksar and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye and is the daughter of late Gulshan Kumar.
