Contrary to new age workouts and diet charts that forbid consumption of anything cooked using 'ghee', the actor has now endorsed a ghee brand.
"Pure ghee is never bad for health but these days it is difficult to find something pure," Dharam said.
Talking about his succesful career, the actor said credit goes to people who still love him. "I am what I am because of love of people who could relate to the character I played on screen," said Dharmendra who was in the capital to promote a Desi ghee brand.
The actor was literally mobbed by his fans and the media that he ended up fleeing in an auto rickshaw, which he hired just outside a five-star hotel in central Delhi.
