Rahul Mahajan drug case accused Sahil Zaroo was arrested in the wee hours of Wednesday for allegedly slapping his long time companion and upcoming starlet Sonal Chouhan at the Mumbai airport, police said.

Zaroo (24) confronted Chouhan, who made her debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in the recently released film Jannat, at the Jet Airways counter of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport's terminal 1-B on Tuesday evening when she was collecting a boarding pass for a Hyderabad flight, they said.

"It resulted in a minor altercation between the two during which Zaroo slapped Chouhan in public and also threw her mobile phone on the floor," said a Senior Officer from the Santacruz Airport police station.

Chouhan was on her way to Hyderabad for a shoot when the incident occurred and Zaroo, who had also booked a ticket on the same flight as her, started running after the incident.

However, the CISF officials posted at the airport caught hold of him immediately.

Chouhan's father, who had come to see her off at the airport, assaulted Zaroo when he was being taken away by the securitymen, the officer added.

"She knew Zaroo for some time and was lately avoiding him due to which he used to send her obscene SMS'," he added.

Zaroo was arrested in the wee hours today under sections 323 (causing hurt), 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), 448 (tres-pass), 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) and 427 (causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code.

Zaroo, whose family owns a shawl business, is alleged to have sold cocaine to late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul and his secretary Vivek Moitra in Delhi in 2006.

Moitra died due to drug overdose while Rahul had to be hospitalised.
