For patriotism
IDEA Cellular, an Aditya Birla Group Company, in association with Art and Artists has brought together leading Indian cine artistes, singers and sportsmen to create the inspiring song and music video, Jai Hind. The video intends to highlight the diversity of India in terms of languages, cultures, races, musical styles and bring all together to promote a national identity anthem for the youth to embrace, and be part of the nation-building exercise. The aim of IDEA and Art & Artists with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Prasar Bharati is to reach out to all Indians.
The audio-visual montage has been shot across some scenic locales across the country from Ladakh in the North to Kanyakumari in the South and Rajasthan in the West to Manipur in the East. The objective of the video is to instill a sense of pride and promote unity amongst Indians, highlighting the different linguistic communities and societies that live in India. IDEA Cellular’s tribute to the nation also focuses on Indian Legends that have made the nation proud in their respective arenas be it Sports or Music and the youth from Gen Next. The film includes the names of sportspersons like Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Dhanraj Pillai, Bhaichung Bhutia, Narain Karthikeyan and Vishwanathan Anand.
Ustad Zakir Hussain, Javed Akhtar, Pt. Jasraj. Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia,, Dr. L. V Subramaniam, Sonu Niigaam, Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik and Yesudas among others are featuring in the song.
Hot and cold
Amit Tandon is feeling the heat at the moment. The lead hero of Zee TV’s Saath-Saath does not get along too well with his co-star and wife in the show, Tulika. They have been recently married in the serial and so the script obviously demands some intimate scenes between them. As it is Amit is not too comfortable with Tulika and to add to his woes he has to bear with the presence of Tulika’s fiancé on the sets. The atmosphere on the sets is very ‘cold’ in the literal sense (Tulika’s fiancé is believed to give cold stares to Amit during the shooting) and the actor is finding it hard it to get ‘hot’ with Tulika. The lack of chemistry and discomfort between them is evident on screen as well.
