Abhishek Bachchan in Goldie’s Behl’s next

Producer-director Goldie Behl stated that he will be producing two big films this year. Goldie’s first is an untitled venture, which will star good friend Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, and will be directed by Anurag Basu. For the director who has just completed the mixing of Kites, this film will be his most ambitious project till date, but will take off next year as that is the time junior Bachchan can spare dates. “Abhishek is the choice for the film with Anurag Basu and there is another project titled Copycat, which will star Pratik Babbar and will be directed by me. Both actors will star in two different films and not one, as reported,” clarified Goldie.

Hide & Seek postponed to March 12
Apoorva Lakhia’s Hide & Seek, which was slated to release on February 19 will now hit the screens on March 12. A whodunnit, the film is directed by debutant director Shawn Arranh and stars Purab Kohli, Arjan Bajwa, Mrinalini Sharma, Ayaz Khan, Samir Kochhar and newbie Amruta Patki. “Apoorva Lakhia, who is the producer of the film and I felt that the popularity of My Name Is Khan which released on February 12, could affect the box-office returns of our film, hence the postponement,” said Shawn.
