“Sure, we're starting a string of films with Rumi, Rohit and Nishikant, but we aren't putting direction on hold. That's a rumour. As directors, we are committed to Subhash-ji [Ghai], Tips and Venus and we will direct movies, besides producing films simultaneously,” the director duo reveals. Also, brother Hussain, who edits their movies, will also turn independent director soon; his directorial debut will be produced by Abbas-Mustan of course.

Meanwhile, Abbas-Mustan were planning to start sequels to Baazigar and Badshaah. What happened to those projects? “Baazigar is still fresh in the minds and frankly, we haven't found a script that lives up to the mammoth expectations. But an idea for Badshaah 2 has germinated and the moment the script is ready, we would approach Shah Rukh for it,” they state humbly.
