After their outing in Nach Baliye, Aamir and Sanjeeda will be seen together in Kya Dill Mein Hain on 9X. When asked why she chose to do this serial, she said it was because of Aamir. “Secondly it’s Balaji’s own show and Ekta has always given me great characters till date, so I was sure if she thought I was fit for this, then I had to do it. Lastly, I play a completely positive character, which is what I wanted to do after Kayaamath.” Sanjeeda will be seen playing the character of Naina, a lawyer by profession, but a fun-loving, free- spirited and ambitious young woman. “We are working in the same show, but are not seen as a couple. Maybe later if the track shapes up with us being paired together, audiences will see our chemistry on screen. Till then it will be just nice to be working on the same sets and having a hassle-free time,” smiles the light-eyed actress.

A rocking party
Rajan Shahi and Star plus threw a bash together to celebrate the success of Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai last Wednesday at Mumbai’s J. W. Marriott.
The party saw the Who’s Who of the television industry besides the complete star- cast of Bidaai including Alok Nath with wife Vibha Chibber (the woman who played coach in Chak De! India), Parul Chauhan, Sara Khan, Angad Hasija, Kinshuk Mahajan and Seema Kapoor. Shahi was personally attending to all the guests. Most of the actors from the shows he has directed in the past made an appearance to congratulate him on his success. The celebrities who graced the special occasion included Rajshree Thakur, Mona Singh, Juhi Parmar, Rakshanda Khan, Anuj Saxena, Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri, Amarr Upadhyay, Vikas Bhalla and Renuka and Ashutosh Rana.

New format for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, for the very first time has seen a change in the format of the show. Now every week all the singers from all the gharanas will perform and there will be four eliminations every week. This decision was taken after a heated argument between the judges because the format, they felt, was not conducive to selecting the best participant amongst some exceptional singers. Viewers would forget about the singers from one week to the next since whoever sang in the current week would be top of the mind. Now all the participants will sing over two episodes and four will be eliminated per week.
