I am very glad to hear that Tom Alter got a Padma Shri Award recently. He is a very fine actor with good command over Hindi and has a dynamic personality. May we request the authorities to consider the following persons for awards next time if possible. First comes Om Shivpuri who started rather late in Koshish, then he made a mark in Namak Haraam, Aap To Aise Na The and played a character role in many movies. He had a good voice and played quite a dominating role in Coolie. Second comes Raza Muraad who has a very powerful voice. He started as a small role in Namak Haraam after which he was seen in Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Mohra, Vishwatma, Tridev and many other movies in character roles.

These two actors certainly deserve an award and if not, a small coverage for their 35 years contribution to industry. I am still aware that Raza Murad (son of famous actor Murad) is still doing bit of roles in Hindi and regional languages.
