Major stint of One Two Ka Four completed
Producer Nazir Ahmed and director Shashilal K. Nair completed a marathon 19-day shooting schedule for Glamour Films’ One Two Ka Four on July 1. During the stint, an elaborate action packed climax was shot in Mumbai Flying Club, N.S.E. Complex (Goregaon) and Ballard Pier. Action director Mahendra Verma picturised some breath-taking sequences on Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Nirmal Pandey alongwith a number of kids and stuntmen. The film also starring Jackie Shroff, has music by A.R. Rahman, lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri, cinematography by S. Kumar, art by Nitin Desai and editing by Hussain Burmawala.

Champion progresses
Producer Sujit Kumar completed a 6-day shooting schedule of Shri Shiv Bhakti Films Champion on July 26 at Khoja Bunglows (Versova) and other Mumbai locales. All the important patchwork involving Manisha Koirala and Rahul Dev were picturised during this schedule. Meanwhile the post production work and the editing is going on in full swing at Empire Studio. The film stars Sunny Deol in the title role along with Manisha Koirala, Kashmira Shah, Rahul Dev, Vikram Gokhale, Surendra Pal, Tom Alter, A.K. Hangal, Anil Nagrath, Dina Pathak, Mr. Abhishek, Neha Sharad, Rakesh Pandey, Vivek Shauq, Panni, Mr. Kewalia, Mr. Jassi, Mr. Hardeep, Mr. Jasmit, Baby Tanvi, Ranajung Bahadur and Deepak Parashar.

The film being directed by Padam Kumar, has cinematography by Thiru, dialogues by Sanjay Masoom, action by Tinu Verma, choreography by Ahmed Khan and Raju Sunderam, lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music by Anu Malik. The film is getting readied for an all India relase in the month of September, 2000.

Title song of Dil Dhoondta Hai shot
Producer Tahir Hussain and director Anwar Pasha shot the title song for A1-Tahir Entertainments’ Dil Dhoondta Hai alongwith some talkie portions during a seven days shooting schedule at Hotel Juhu Centaur and on a specially erected set at Filmistan Studios. Debutante Shoaib Khan, Devi Sri and Divya Palaat alongwith Farhad Nathani and Ved Thapar participated in the schedule. The film has music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Tahir Hussain, story by Anwar Pasha, screenplay by Tahir Hussain, Shahnez T. Khan and Anwar Pasha, dialogues by Madan Joshi, cinematography by S.M. Anwar, art by Shib Shankar and dances by Rekha Prakash.

Gumnaam Qatil editing complete
The editing of H.S. Films’ Gumnaam Qatil was completed on June 28 at Deep Editing. The entire post production work will be completed shortly and the first print of the film will be out in the last week of July. The film written-produced-directed by Harinam Singh, stars Anjali Kolhapure, Ajay Kumar, Madhuri Kale, Ghanshyam, Mehnaz, Mahesh Raagi, Ramesh Goyal, Yunus Parwaiz, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Dev Malhotra, Manmaujee,Harinam Singh and Johny Nirmal. Music by S. Prabhat, cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty, dances by Ashok Roy and editing by Pappu Sharma are other major credits of the film due for release in August/September.

Khoobsurat Chudeilen
H.S. Films’ Khoobsurat Chudeilen is 7 reels ready after completion of a 5-day shooting stint recently at Patel Wadi (Madh Island), Esel Outdoor Studio, Madhuram Bungalow (Kandivali) and other locales in Mumbai. The film, written-produced-directed by Harinam Singh, stars Anmol, Simmis Manju, Parveen Khan, Janardhan Mishra, Kamlesh, Birbal, Kishore Bhanushali, Wilson Desai, Praful Desai and Yunus Perwaiz. Music by S. Prabhat, cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty and editing by appu Sharma are other credits of the film.

Jeene Nahin Doongi progress
Divya Enterprises’ Jeene Nahin Doongi was shot from June 26 to July 2 at Chetan Studios, Sun Villa, Film City and other locales of Mumbai. Yamini, who was signed play a major role, participated in the shooting schedule alongwith Amit Pachori, Pooja Dedwal, Anu Kashyap, Ishrat Ali, Dinesh Hingoo, Kaushal Kapoor, Mahaveer Shah, Vicky Mehra, Yogee, Amit Sharma, Ladoo Jain, Prabhat Singh, Deepak Shirke, Harish Patel and R.M. H.S. Films’ Ichhadhari Bhoot is 7 reels ready after a non-stop 6-day shooting stint held recently at Patel Wadi (Madh Island), Esel Studio, Madhuram Bungalow (Kandivali) and other locales of Mumbai. The film written-produced-directed by Harinam Singh, stars new find Priya, Renu Patel, Birbal, Kishore Bhanushali, Bhakti Kapoor, Kamlesh Singh, Wilson, Prabhudhan Desai and Deep Singh. Cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty, music by S. Prabhat and editing by Pappu Sharma are other credits of the film.

Dhaar editing complete
The editing of First Movie International’s Dhaar was completed on June 28 at Prakash Kothare’s editing room. A 2-day final shooting and patch work shooting of the film will be held at C.C.C.(Mira Road) and other locales of Mumbai. The film , produced by Amit Chandra Sahey and directed by S. Chandra, stars Sudesh Berry, Priyanka, Aman Jalati, Vishaaka Jhaveri, Prithvi, Rajni, Joy Mathew, Bharat Kapoor, Brij Gopal, Ramesh Goyal and Mahaveer Shah. The film has music by Jay-Vijay.

Ek Raaj Mere Dil Main Hain
A 5-day shotting schedule of Cine Deep’s Ek Raaj Mere Dil Main Hain was completed on July 5 at Patel Wadi (Madh Island), Mahethia Farm, Bhasin Nest, Film City and Darshan Baug. One song and some dramataic sequences picturised on Jay Thakur, Sanjeevni, Anu Kashyap, new find Sapna, Priya Kadam, Goga Kapoor, Dinesh Hingoo, Mac Mohan, Rajoo Shrivastava, Rana Jung Bahadur, Yunus Parwaiz and Kirit Rawal. The film produced and directed by Surinder Malhotra, has story by Dr. Balkishan Mauj, cinematography by Rajen Lyallpuri, music by Gunwant Raaj, lyrics by Soz Lyallpuri-Kewalya Shah, art by Dilip Singh, dances by Naresh Shikari, action by Bobby Singh and editing Satish Hande.

Chandni Gupta’s next
Producers Chandni Gupta and Avinash will launch Vaishnav Pictures next, yet untitled, on July 20 at Film City and Hiranandani Complex, Powai with a 20 day start-to-finish spell. Chandni Gupta herself and Satnam are in the female leads along with Mohan Joshi, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Poonam Das Gupta, Pinky Chinoi, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Vijay and Laliksh. Story by Sanjay Sinha, cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty and dances by Nihal Singh are other major credits of the film.

Mahesh Raaj in Kaali Ki Saugandh
Mahesh Raaj has been signed to play a key role in Zen Productions Kaali Ki Saugandh, being jointly produced by Aarif Temboli and Zuber and directed by Sabir Shaikh.

Bholi Bhaali Ladki
Sanjeev Soni has been signed to write the story-screenplay and dialogues of Om Namah Shivay Productions’ Bholi Bhaali Ladki. The film being produced by Robin Ghai and directed by K. Shivraam, has music by Suman Sudeep and cinematography is by Dilip Dey. The cast and other credits of the film are yet to be finalised and an initial shooting of 6 days will begin from July 10 in Mumbai.

Title changed
The title of Jeet Productions’ Aashiq Hatyare has been changed to Qatil Haseenon Ka. The entire shooting of the film was completed recently and the editing was completed on June 29 at Video Vision, Juhu. The dubbing for the film commenced on July 2 at Studio Ablaze. The film being jointly produced by Ranjeet Singh, Harish Marwah and Dharmesh Jaitley and directed by K. Shivraam, stars Jay Thakur, Ranjeev Raaj, Amen Sagar, Amit Kapoor, Sohail Khan, Purohit Kohli, Preeti Patil, Aparna Bera, Poonam Tripathi, Rashmee Verma, Raanu, Arya, Junior Mehmood, Kishore Bhanushali, Junior Dilip Kumar (Abid), Birbal, Jayshree T., Mac Mohan, Sudhir, Yunuz Parweiz, Rana Jung Bahadur, Goga Kapoor and Kiran Kuma. Story by Dharmesh Jaitley, screenplay-dialogues by Siddique Durrani, cinematography by Rajan Lyallpuri, music by Gunwant Raaj and editing by Baloo Saluja are other major creidts of the film.

The Messenger
Salim Kashmiri and Amit have completed the background music recording for United Hum’s The Messenger, a silent film (without a single dialogue) on June 28. The final mixing and sound-tracks was completed on July 5 at Rajkamal Kala Mandir on DTS. The first print of the film being written-produced-directed-edited by Kadar Kashmiri will be out on July 15. The film stars Rajul Gandhi, Shoibh Khan, Rucheeta Sahay, Sunil Don, Seema Motwani, Seema Siddhu and Hyder Khan.

Dharmendra to play Dacoit
Producer-director-editor Jitendra Chawda has signed Dharmendra to play the title role of Dacoit to be made under the banner of Ishwar Films. Music director Sawan Kumar Sawan recorded all 5 songs commencing on June 30 at K.K. Sound Studios, Mumbai. Vindo Rathod, Poornima, Richa Sharma, Harvinder Singh, Pradeep Pandit and Sonali Bajpai rendered their voice to the lyrics of Zail Singh and Kumar Anjum. The film is presented by Kanta Chawda, while the other cast and credits is being finalised.

Daku Maharani complete
Producer Vimal Jain and director Teerat Singh completed the entire shooting of Nishu Arts Daku Maharani on June 26 at Kandivali Studios. During the schedule, the climax, talkie portions and some action scenes were picturised. The entire starcast comprising Satnam Kaur, Roma, Kiran Kumar, Deepak Shirke, Shiva, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Joginder and Ramesh Goel participated. The other major credits of the film are story by Prem Kumar Sharma, cinematography by R.M. Shah, actions are by Riyaz Sultan, editing by Anand Deewan, music by Sawan Kumar Sawan and dances by Mahesh Kumar.

Bhawaani Shankar
Producer-director K. Suresha signed Dharmendra to play a key role for Ootee Arts’ Bhawaani Shankar’. The film also stars Vasundhara, Yamini, Mohan Joshi, Kiran Kumar, Deepak Shirke, Alok Nath, Raza Murad, Pramod Mautho, Amritpal, Ali Khan, Mahesh Raj, Razak Khan, Sudhir Patil, Buddh Dev, Anil Nagrath, Avtaar Gil and Sikander Khan. Story by Santosh Jain, screenplay by Shaukat Mirza, dialogues by Bashir Babar, cinematography by Harish Patel, actions by Akbar Sharif and editing by Om Prakash Makkar are other major credits of the film to be launched on July 11 with a 5-day shooting schedule.

Sunhare Yadein
Music director Abid Khan recorded 4 songs recently for Shri Omkar Films Sunhare Yadein (music album) at Neel Kiran Studios, Mumbai. New singer Kumari Kiya rendered her voice for the songs to the lyrics by K. Patel. Thereafter Dance director Maqdoom picturised a song on Actress Kiran Patel and others held at different locales of Virar (Near Bombay).
