SATURDAY SUSPENSE

The prize winning Derby horse, Silver Blaze is missing and his trainer is
found dead in front of his owner's bungalow. Police Inspector Dubey seeks
help of the investigative lawyer, Rajan Chinoy to solve the crime. Rajan
finds unusual clues to solve this murder, but cannot find the prize horse.
Meanwhile, in the next Derby, Black Beauty wins and Rajan quickly gets down
to work out who an outsider won the race? He discovers that the Black Beauty
is none other than the original Silver Blaze only painted black. But why
was he painted? And why was the trainer killed?
RISHTEY
Zee TV, Jan. 15, 8.30 p.m.
Inspector Vivek Gupta is about to complete 30 years of spotless, honest service
in the police force. It is a record he and his wife and daughter are proud
of. One night he is assigned the task of apprehending and arresting Neelkant
Sawant, a criminal wanted for the murder of mill
owner
Laxman Rai.
Even as Neelkant is bidding adieu to his wife in the village, Vivek Gupta
descends on him and arrests him. At the railway station they learn that the
train to Bombay is delayed due to heavy rains. Vivek Gupta and Neelkant wait
on the platform.
It is then that Vivek Gupta learns about the circumstances that led Neelkant
to kill Laxman Rai. To his shock Vivek Gupta realises that the same Laxman
Rai was the man responsible for the death of his own brother. Now Vivek Gupta
suffers from pangs of conscience. He realises that Neelakant had the courage
to commit an act that he himself had refrained from thanks to his police
duty.
As the moment of reckoning beckons, Vivek Gupta takes the most important
decision of his life he lets Neelkant run away because he feels that
a good man should not suffer injustice, and in the process wipes out his
clean record of 30 years.
But he has a surprise, because Neelkant Sawant has given himself up to the
police. In a touching reunion, Neelkant explains to Gupta why he did not
have the heart to runaway because he could not tarnish the reputation of
an honest man like Gupta souls who behaved in "goodness and honesty"
hold hands all alone in a cell.
ZANJEEREIN
Zee TV, Jan. 16, 9.30p.m.
Calculating the advantages in attending the court proceedings, Rakesh has
arrived in Ludhiana. Atul and his lawyer Niranjan Kaur, Dalip and his lawyer
Malhotra, and Indrajit and his lawyer Neeraj Kapoor arrive in the court room
after finalising their respective strategies. As the case begins and a drama
starts building.
Niranjan Kaur despite Malhotra's efforts nearly succeeds in providing with
the evidence of experts that the entries in the Patwari's records have been
decietfully altered. As the Patwari himself is asked to take the witness
stand, he is found absconding. The hearing is postponed.
Indrajit's much talked of evidence will also be taken in the next hearing.
The worries of the case have hardly diminished, when Indrajit gets the news
about a serious dispute having arisen between Dinesh and Ranjana in Jaipur.
Infuriated, Indrajit summons them with the idea of marrying them off without
any delay.
VISHWAS
Zee TV, Jan.17,10.30 p.m.
Vijay meets Karan and tells him that Vishal's son has been killed long ago.
Dolly tells Priti to help her out in Karan's case. Priti meets Vishal and
asks him to convince Karan to accept Dolly's love, Vishal fails to convince
Karan.
Karan informs D.K. about Vishal's son's death and asks him about his father.
D.K. tells him that his father is behind bars in connection with some crime.
DO AUR DO PAANCH
Zee TV, Jan. 17, 8.30 p.m.
Krishnakant
is bored of dealing with divorce cases and wants to try something else. Dinsha
advises him to accept crime cases as nowadays there is a large scope for
criminal lawyers. Harsh has an accident with his motorbike and crashes into
the car of a very dangerous criminal.
Dinsha gets this don to Krish's house introducing him as Krish's new client.
In order to protect himself from this dangerous don, Harsh disguises himself
as a woman. Now, when the underworld don sees Miss Pinky i.e. Harsh, he falls
for her, thus creating a bigger problem for Harsh.
IDHAR UDHAR
DD-1, Jan.14, 9.30 p.m.
Even while Sunita settles in the new apartment and joins her duty as the
chief air hostess she gets a call from the air-hostesses that a pilot flirted
with one of them and that if she doesn't get him fired they'll go on a strike.
Poonam takes it lightly and asks Sunita to tell the airhostess to marry the
flirt till Sunita tells her what she had done to the then chief air hostess
when her union had gone on a strike nagged her and ravaged her
apartment.
Even while they grope for a solution the airhostesses land up demanding the
pilot's resignation and issue an ultimatum about the strike. And even as
the airhostesses leave on a threatening note the pilots land up at Sunita's
house saying the demand for resignation is unfair and that the pilot is innocent
and he should be spared or else... Sunita is in a fix and Poonam's thoughts
are in a mix. How do Sunita and Poonam go about solving this pilot and airhostess
entanglement? Do Poonam's crazy suggestions about a marriage bear any fruit?
HINDUSTANI
DD2 , Jan. 21, 9.30 p.m.
The SII chief is impatiently waiting to hear the news of bomb blasts in India,
on BBC. He calls up Baba Shaikh, who himself is baffled as to why the blasts
have not taken place at the scheduled time.
Gadaffi tells Baba Shaikh that if he did not want to see his wife widowed,
the bombs had better go off soon. Sangram Sing captures Baba Shaikh and hauls
him to Court. In the court Baba Shaikh confesses not only about the plan
of bomb blasts, but to earlier bomb blasts as well. He also tells the court
that it was he who had gotten the home minister assassinated by Dilavar.
Sangram and his commandos are freed. Baba Shaikh is whisked away by a stranger
on a speeding motorbike.
MILE SUR MERA ....
DD-1, Jan. 16, 11.30 p.m.
Yogita, Martina and Jayashree talk about their lives. Martina misses Gary,
her boyfriend.
Jayashree
recollects how Durgaprasad had proposed to her and she had slapped him.
Yogita and Martina introduce Jayashree to Jiyalal. Though she does not like
him, she still acts as if she does. Jiyalal tells Yashoda about it. Taking
Jiyalal into confidence, Yashoda tells everyone that she finds Jiyalal good
for Jayashree.
Jiyalal gets a red saree for Jayashree who insults him. Later on, realising
her folly Jayashree goes with Martina and Yogita to college on rose day and
extends a friendly hand. Jiyalal refuses, as he already has found a friend.
Jayashree comes back with the rose in her hand.
APRADHI
STAR Plus, Jan. 16, 8.00 p.m.
Crime segment: Seventeen year old Rupesh and his sister studied late, every
night. Their parents had this habit of locking them in, and retiring to bed,
on the terrace. On night, a thief broke the lock, got in, snatched his sister's
gold chain and tried running off. Rupesh chased him only to be stabbed to
death.
Social segment: A handicapped girl, Mary, has to do all the domestic chores
herself. No one helps her. Not her father, not her brother nor her bhabhi.
Her sister-in-law and her father meet a social organisation and manage to
get a telephone booth (given to the handicapped) on Mary's name. The present
position is that Mary has to run the telephone booth and the house
without getting a penny for herself. A good young man, Paresh wants to marry
Mary, but her father and her bhabhi don't allow her...
