Born on 19th March 1979 Tanushree Dutta is a film actress and a well known model. Tanushree among her other achievements has the distinction of winning the Femina Miss India in the year 2005. This suave model was 25 years old when she was selected as Miss India. She was also placed among the top ten in the Miss Universe 2004 pageant held in Quito, Ecuador.

Tanushree Dutta is a Bengali who was born and brought up in the Jamshedpur in the erstwhile Bihar state Tanushree Dutta and completed her graduation in commerce from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce in Pune, Maharashtra.

Tanushree started her foray into Bollywood in 2005. She, right at the start of her career worked on two films simultaneously Chocolate and Aashiq Banaya Apne. Though Chocolate was intended to be her debut film, but eventually it was Aashiq Banaya Apne which got released earlier.
