Shilpa Shetty was born on June 8, 1975 and is a famous Bollywood actress and model. Shilpa initially started modeling for Limca at the age of 16 and did her first movie ‘Baazigar’ in 1993. Since then Shilpa has done over 40 films in Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and Kannada.

Shilpa was born to Surendra and Sunanda Shetty in Managalore and belongs to a close knit family. Shilpa has a younger sister, Shamita Shetty, who is also a Bollywood actress. Shilpa’s career had been going downhill when she was offered a stint in a UK reality show. A racist remark in the show got her sympathy votes and Shilpa won the show.

Since then Shilpa’s career took off like never before and got her very interesting projects. Recently, Shilpa ventured into IPL and is part owner of Rajasthan Royals along with her boyfriend, Raj Kundra. Shilpa is planning to settle down soon with her boyfriend in England and has even purchased a house in Saint George’s Hill, Surrey.
