Born in January 1985, in the picturesque Kashmir, Minissha Lamba has established her strong foothold in Bollywood as an actress. Lamba who stands 160 cm tall has carved a place for himself and a niche in the audience.

Minissha’s growth in the film industry as a star has been in a very short time frame looking at the success she has got in the main-stream success in recent years.

Some of her illustrious works include “Corporate”, “Rocky: The Rebel”, “Anthony Kaun Hai”,“Honeymoon Travels”,“Anamika”, "Shaurya", “Dus Kahaniyaan”, "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and "Kidnap". Minissha stands 160 cm. tall.

Her father being in the hospitality business, Minissha had a wonderful opportunity to travel around the country and meet many people.

Minissha who desired to be a journalist pursued modelling as a hobby while she was studying for a degree in Delhi. It did not take much time for the petite lady to become a well placed name in the modelling industry.

Her modelling works include several commercials for the television including companies such as LG, Sony, Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk and many others.

Lamba who completed her degree in English Honours from the University of Delhi, in 2004 always gave priority to her academic career and was not set to break in the film industry. In 2005, Minissha appeared in her first movie called ‘Yahaan’ directed by Shoojit Sircar. This movie gave her the break and ushered her into Bollywood.

Her 2008 venture, Siddharth Anand's film Bachna Ae Haseeno with stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone again brought her to the fore.
