'New York' review by Sameera Sen on 28, JUN 2009 A gripping, moving tale of innocent lives changed forever because of a catastrophic event. In time of fear, reactions are wrong and extreme - but there is no going back. That's what Sam, Maya and Omar discover....The storytelling is interesting enough to keep you hooked, the events unfold in a natural manner, no scene is over-the-top. Performances are uniformly good. There are some heart-breaking moments (John's transformation from a self-assured winner to a broken, humiliated, lost man is one). You will feel for all the characters - all caught up in a web of deceit, betrayal, a twisted justice. Do watch this film.
