Mohini and Ashwin sit with Ramlal to do the casting for Chahat. Meanwhile, Shefali tells Sajni not to be upset if Bobby is not contacting her, may be he’ll do better if left alone. Amar is not happy that Anita is going to Model but he knows she has to make a living. He is surprised when Anita refuses to take action against Mohini and Ashwin.

Ashwin, Ramlal and others are auditioning girls for the main lead of Chahat, when Anita arrives in a very sexy dress. Ashwin is very angry but cannot tell Mohini anything. He goes to a local show of newcomers Ajay and Preeti and asks them to play the main lead in their film. Preeti faints on hearing Mohini’s name.

MILE SUR MERA ...
DD-1, Feb. 7, 11.30p.m.

Yashoda teaches Sunny to pray. Vishal is upset that Deepak refuses to help him get close to a girl he likes. Meeta and Yashoda plan to take a tiffin to the hotel after Brahma remarks that he is missing Yashoda coming in with his tiffin.

Meeta suggests that they cook the village type of food and carry it the way village women do. They proceed in a taxi. In the meantime, Brahma refuses to compromise on his principles and let the hotel staff throw away the stale food. Vishnu is upset but doesn’t react.

Brahma wants to study. Jayashree teaches Yogita and Nicole to draw the rangoli. She also asks Yogita to help her get admission in a commerce college. Martina tells Shankar that she is homesick. Shankar asks her for sometime. Brahma and Vishnu are happy to see Meeta and Yashoda wit the tiffin.

SABOOT
STAR Plus, Feb. 7, 9.00p.m.

Inspector KC comes on the scene and meets a distraught husband and learns that his wife was being followed by a strange man. This is confirmed to KC by a next door neighbour and watchman.

KC discovers the book and realises its importance, since the notes and books Suman was working on where left open while this closed book was on top of them with the paper weight placed deliberately on it. KC shows the book to everyone concerned with the case and asks them whether it means anything to them. The book cover has a picture of a strange man. After collecting a lot of proof, KC proves that Suman was killed by her husband DK pretending to be another man.

PRIYA TENDULKAR...

Recently there have been several cases of suicide among the farmers and the students. They seem to happen in a pre-planned series. Self-immolation is also a kind of suicide. The debate is to understand this phenomena which surfaces occasionally and baffles us by its repetitive pattern.

Lord Vishnu indicates that some great persons from earth will occupy the throne of heaven after Vritrasur. King Nahush feels sad on being informed by Narad that he will be the king of heaven. Indra makes peace with Vritrasur and offers him the throne of heaven.

Tvastha warns Vritrasur against his friendship with Indra. Brahma informs Indra that Vritrasur can only be killed by a weapon made from the bones of sage Dadhichi.

Crime Segment: Forty five year old Arjun and his wife Usha Rani did not know what was in store for them, when one morning they went to the bank to put a gold choker (necklace) in the locker and to withdraw some cash. Having done the same, Usha Rani waited at the entrance of the bank, while her husband went to fetch the car, just a few feet away. That they were being watched by two boys they were unaware of. When one snatched her bag, she screamed. She was stabbed to death, after which the two criminals escaped...

Social Segment: Tarun and Lata were parents of three children. However, Tarun was in love with a girl, Seema, to whom he had promised marriage! Seema was pregnant with his child. She pleaded with him to hurry with their marriage... One find day, when Tarun and Lata were at home, Seema turned up... resulting in a quarrel between Lata and Seema... Seema wondered what fate had in store for her...

KORA KAAGAZ

The time for bride’s departure arrives, and everyoneís eyes mist over. Ajay is unable to control himself and weeps bitterly and is blames himself. Pooja enters the new home and is welcomed with traditional ceremonies. Everybody there is in happy mood and is envied with Mahesh’s luck that he has got such a beautiful wife. On the other hand Mahesh is in a gloomy mood.

SEA HAWKS

Kumar rushes to the office to talk to the kidnapped child. Kunal identifies someone else as his mother and not the woman who had come to meet Kumar earlier. Further talk reveals that Kumar’s office has been bugged. He detects the microphone in the pen.

Kumar goes to meet Comdt. Rajput to settle their differences once and for all. They both land up at a restaurant for a drink. Kumar runs into Sophiya. He tries to catch her but Sophiya is smart. She holds a guest at gun-point and flees. Vivek and Kumar chase her in different cars. Sophiya’s car rams into a lamp post. Vivek reaches the point of accident first. Sophiya is arrested.

ALPVIRAM
Sony, Dec. 9, 9.00 p.m.

Govindram and Subhadra tell Rohit about Chanda, who has given them enough details to start an enquiry against the hospital staff and authorities. Subhadra agrees to go ahead and expose the rapist.

Sunita’s mother comes to Mrs. Bakshi and says that she is being pestered by people who are questioning her about Amrita and Rohit. Sunita fires her mother for being so petty. Madhavi and Mrs Bakshi are surprised to find a change in Sunita’s attitude.

Mrs. Bakshi asks Madhavi to take Rohit to London with her but she refuses saying that she would rather Rohit take responsibility of Amrita’s child.

BHANWAR

Joginder and his brother Rajinder work in their farm in Punjab. They have a fairly large holding of land on which both have equal share. Despite this the two brothers worked together and did not separate the yield from the two plots. They shared the income equally.

But over the years Joginder’s holding became uncultivable. The two worked on Rajinder’s land but this arrangement did not last for long. Problems cropped up and one harvest season Rajinder decided to keep the proceeds to himself despite the fact that the year round they both had worked on it together. Joginder was not just shocked — he was hurt.

This created bad blood. Joginder with his wife Manpreet and their 5 year old son get separated from the rest of the family. As the brothers became bitter enemies this new development aggravated the situation. Joginder puts his foot down as he realises that his sister-in-law, Amarjeet wants to marry his brother Rajinder as they are both in love.

At the same time Rajinder’s harvest catches fire. He blames Joginder for this unfortunate marriage Joginder asks her to stay away from the ceremonies. But when the baraat comes back Manpreet decides to greet her sister and urges Joginder to do the same. This brings out the worst in Joginder — the baratis are greeted by a burning woman. It is Manpreet.

The forensic expert finds traces of blood on the bullet embedded in the painting. This proves there was a third person at the scene of the crime and the person was wounded, too.

The CID arrests Kavi’s partner KK who has a fresh wound and has no alibi. But new evidence turns up that suggests that Kavi is faking his blindness. It is an elaborate frame up or is Kavi using his blindness to cover up his killing.

HEENA

Faizan Raza asks Sameer about his plans to Europe. He asks Sameer, why he hasn’t still confirmed his air tickets? Heena covers up for Sameer and tells her father-in-law that Sameer has already given the tickets for confirmation.

On being questioned by Sameer, Heena tells him that she lied to Faizan Raza because the truth would have caused him a lot of pain as the tickets given by him were a token of his love.
