PENAZ MASANI

Penaz Masani I watch Channel(V) and MTV regularly for the new releases, the top of the charts etc. These days I also watch Music Asia for film music and Indian music. I love all the music-based shows, especially TVS Sa Re Ga Ma. I am simply amazed at the vast talent we have in India, those newcomers are all so confident and well-prepared. I used to watch Antakshari regularly but it’s becoming rather repetitive now. At times they come up with some very good episodes like the kids special. And then I like Neelam in Ooh La La, she’s so cute. I watch it only for her antics.

I go bonkers over comedies and whodunits. I love the corny British humour in Faulty Towers and Are You Being Served. Of the Hindi sitcoms, I love Zabaan Sambhalke, Hum Paanch and Dekh Bhai Dekh the most. Tanaaz Currim is so hilarious in Zabaan Sambhalke. She has me in splits with her act, I start laughing the moment she appears on the screen.

Among who-dun-its, I like X-Files and Aahat, they are scary not gory. I watch The Zee Horror Show for it’s eerie title track. Ooh! it sends shivers down my spine.
