Director David Dhawan and producers Shobha Kapoor and Ekta
Kapoor completed a seven-day shooting schedule of Shri Siddhivinayak
Films Prod. No. 1 recently in Mumbai. Many scenes were
picturised at different locations featuring all the artists.
With the completion of this schedule, 80 per cent of the shooting
is complete. Three songs and climax scenes remain to be picturised.
Starring Govinda, Sushmita Sen, Rambha, Anupam Kher, Satish
Kaushik, Kiran Kumar, Sharad Kapoor, Aashish Vidhyarthi, Shahbaaz
Khan, Mohnish Bahl, Master Jabran, Razak Khan, Jaya Bhattacharya
and Anant Mahadevan, it is a Jeetendras presentation.
Prakash Pange is the executive producer. Music by Anand Raj
Anand, story-screenplay and dialogue by Yunus Sajawal and
Imtiaz Patel, cinematography by KS Prakash Rao, action by
Machendra Varma and art by R Varman are the other credits.
15-day spell of Pitaah
Director Mahesh Manjrekar and producer Avinash Adik completed
a fifteen-day shooting of Aryaman Films Pitaah this week at
Panchgani featuring all the artists. Starring Sanjay Dutt,
Jackie Shroff, Nandita Das, Sachin Khedkar, Mita Vashist,
Anjan Srivastav, Siddharth Ray and Dinesh Anand this film
has Diwakar Pundir and Om Puri in special appearance, music
by Anand Raj Anand, story-screenplay by Teja, cinematography
by Vijay Arora, art by Nitin Desai, action by Mahendra Varma,
dialogue by K.K. Singh, editing by V.N. Mayekar, sound by
Rajendra egde are the other credits. Sagoon Wagh is the executive
producer.
K Raghavendra Rao to direct Govinda
Producer GA Seshagiri Rao has signed Govinda to play the lead
role in his Padmalayas next film which is being directed
by K Raghavendra Rao. The film went on the floors on March
11 at Padmalaya Studios, Hyderabad with the regular shooting.
Other casts and credits of the film are being finalised.
Pyaasa marches ahead
Producer Ramesh Sharma and director A Muthu commenced another
month-long shooting spell from March 11 for Triple Aar Movies
Pyaasa on a huge set erected at Kamalistan Studios and other
Mumbai locales. Three songs and many other romantic, dramatic,
emotional and other thrilling scenes are being canned. The
film stars Aftab Shivdasani, Yukta Mookhey, Sayed Zulfi, Govind
Namdeo, Anang Desai, Sanjay Narvekar, Smita Jaykar, Arif Zakaria,
Akhilendra Mishra and Mukesh Tiwari. Based on a story by Ikram
Akhtar, it has screenplay by Sanjeev Duggal, dialogue by Tanveer
Khan, cinematography by Harmeet Singh, action by Bhiku Verma
and Pappu Verma, dances by BH Tharun Kumar, sound by Jagmohan
Anand, lyrics by Faaiz Anwar and music by Sanjeev-Darshan.
Ajay-Amisha starrer Parwana
Producer-director Deepak Bahry held another week-long shooting
stint from March 18 at A to Z Market, Kandivali and Jai Hind
Oil Mills, Bhandup and other locales of Mumbai for their Bahry
Films Parwana. Many romantic, dramatic, thrilling and
dynamic scenes were canned. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Amisha
Patel, Namrata Shirodkar, Paresh Rawal, Gulshan Grover, Sayaji
Shinde, Vivek Shaque, Bobby Saini, Kader Khan and Danny Denzongpa.
Based on a story-screenplay by Rajeev Kaul and Praful Parekh,
it has dialogue by Tanveer Khan, cinematography by Damodar
Naidu, art by Bijon Das Gupta, action by Veeru Devgan, sound
by Chotu Bhai, editing by Naseer Khan, lyrics by Sameer and
music by Sanjeev Darshan. Imran Gilani is the production executive.
Spell for Salman-Shilpa starrer
A 12-day shooting stint for producer Bubby Kent and director
KS Adhiyamans, Karishma Internationals Prod. No.
7 was concluded on March 8 on a massive set erected at Filmistan
Studios, Savera Studios, Hotel Centaur (domestic airport)
and other locales of Mumbai. The film stars Salman Khan, Shilpa
Shetty and others. Based on a story KS Adhiyaman himself,
the film has screenplay-dialogue by Rumi Jaffrey, cinematography
by WB Rao, action by Mahendra Varma, art by R Varman, sound
by Ijaz Ahmed and editing by DN Naik. Ajay Paul is the executive
producer and Lucky Sharma is the co-ordinating producer of
the film. The film is now 75 per cent complete. Its
a Bharatbhai Shahs presentation.
Bharat Bhagya Vidhata
Producer TP Aggarwal and Star Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. Bharat
Bhagya Vidhata completed a month-long shooting schedule at
actual locales of Delhi. For the first time, a film was shot
at Tihar jail amongst real convicts. In this spell many romantic,
dramatic, thrilling and hair-raising scenes were canned on
the entire starcast. Being directed by Osho Raja, the film
stars Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Prada, Chandrachur Singh, Puru
Raj Kumar, Shadaab Khan, Satish Shah, Rakesh Bedi, Tom Alter,
Shiva, Upasna Singh and Gulshan Grover. Vikram Aditya, Rinku
and Asha Saini are being introduced in the romantic leads.

Cine Vista Eagal Plus Media (P) Ltd. Yeh Mohabbat Hai recently
in Mumbai. Many scenes including action scenes were picturised
at Film City and Essel Studios featuring all the artists.
Being produced by Prem Kishan, Sunil Mehra and Umesh Mehra,
the film stars Akanksha, Rahul Bhatt, Nasir Khan, Mohini Sharma,
Danny, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Mohnish Bahl, Rakesh
Bedi, Anjana Mumtaz and Gurbachan. Written by Umesh Mehra,
