THE WOMEN WHO HAVE IMPRESSED ME |
SUBHRA
SEN: For being the woman she is and the mother she is. As a
mother shes very flexible. She gave me and my brother a lot
of freedom to grow. As a woman she is as flexible as a rock.
MOTHER TERESA: I have always loved her and said so! I met
her only twice but Ill never forget how she came out and opened
the door of my car for me to step out and greet her. She was so
humble! She was not an Indian but she made India her home and her
homeless children her children.
INDIRA GANDHI: My admiration for her began the day I learnt
we were born on the same day, November 19. I read about her and
then I met her and she made an indelible impression on me as a politician
and person. I saw a tremendous strength in her.
REKHA: Despite being in a profession where everybody knows
everything about you she has remained an enigma. Very mysterious!
ELIZABETH TAYLOR: I have literally done a study on her life.
Theres not a single film of hers that I have not seen. Shes
had had a very tough life but unfortunately, we only remember Elizabeth
Taylor who went through eight marriages and had innumerable affairs.
However, the fact remains that at the tender age of 14, she began
her struggle to become an actress and went on to become a legend.
