when I was in America six years ago, he was a big name. He still
is. Today there’s no need for him to work anymore. But he refuses
to give up and aims even higher. I like such achievers!
DEEPAK CHOPRA: I admire him because he’s always projected
himself as a normal man and not a saint. You don’t have to
go to the Himalayas to know what spiritualism is all about. You
can know about spiritualism sitting here. Deepak Chopra has been
a perfect guide to people who want to be spiritually aware.
RICKY MARTIN: I have known him from the time he sang Spanish
songs in America. It is not easy making a name for yourself as a
singer in America where the competition is cut-throat. There were
bigger names like Louis Miguel five years back, but Ricky struggled
determinedly and today, has made a place for himself among the international
singers. When someone you know well makes it you experience a sense
of pride that goes beyond admiration. Ricky is the one who taught
me that if you aim for the world you get the world.
