Mayyar Ma Manadu Nathi Laagtoo
A ten-day filming stint was completed in early January at Lucky Studio in Halol on a set depicting the heroine’s house for Gangani Film Productions’ Mayyar Ma Manadu Nathi Laagtoo by writer-producer-director Jaswant Gangani. Following this, a mela was picturised on a set erected by art director Kanchanlal Nayak. The film stars Hiten Kumar, newcomer Anandi, Arvind Trivedi, Devendra Pandit, Jaimini Trivedi and Jayendra Mehta. Lyrics penned by Jaswant Gangani have been set to music by Gaurang Vyas. It is being cinematographed by Rafiq Latif. The choreographers are Habiba Rehman, Chinu Shikari and Rajoo Naidu.

Taro Malak Mare Jovo Chhe
GN Films’ Taro Malak Mare Jovo Chhe had a musical launch in Mumbai on January 23 at the Madhurani recording studio. It was the title song of the film, penned and set to music by Arvind Barot and rendered by Sadhana Sargam and the composer himself. One more song was also recorded the next day, the singers being the same. The story and screenplay are written by Govindbhai Patel, who also produces the film and will direct it, too. The dialogues are written by Arvind Barot. The cast and other credits are being finalised.

Maaroo Ghar Kyan Chhe
Meenakshi Pictures’ Maaroo Ghar Kyan Chhe is ready for release. Written, produced and directed by Mahendra Bohra, the film stars Dharmesh Vyas, new heroine Chandni Sarsa, Reeta Bhaduri, Rajeev Verma, Kunika, Nilesh Sukhadia, Bhoomika Sheth, Hitesh Rawal, Bharati and Ramesh Mehta. Lyrics by Bharat Acharya, music by Kirti Girish and cinematography by Hasmukh Rajput embellish the movie. Venus presents the film.

Narmada Taara Vahi Jata Pani
The dubbing of Rohan Films’ Narmada Taara Vahi Jata Pani was completed in Mumbai recently. Written and directed by Kirit Panwala for producer Shobha Panwala, it stars Hiten Kumar, Channa Ruparel, Krishnakant, Devendra Pandit, Jaimini Trivedi, Adi Irani, Chandni Chopra and Feroz Irani. Cinematographed by Manish Bhatt, it has music by Mehul Surti.
