Your nick name: Titu

Born on:
May 8

Sun Sign: Taurus

How long is it since you first started fantasising about a showbiz career?
Initially, all my dreams were related to cricket. Later, my sights were set on theatre, and thence, to films.

Do you believe in destiny?
Without destiny nothing is possible, and everything is possible if you work hard.

Your greatest passion in life?

As an actor, I yearn for a stable career on the silver screen, and for audience appreciation,

When depressed, what’s the first thing you do?
I want to be left alone, for I hate sharing my depression with any one.

With whom and how do you share your happiness?
Oh! I love to go on long drives with soft music on, or simply enjoy my romantic candlelight dinners.

Who would you rate as your mentor?
Sanjay Khan. He’s been a gem.

How important is music in your life?
Music is everywhere, it’s even coursing through my veins. It’s in every drop of my blood.

How would you describe yourself in a nutshell
Tall, dark and handsome.

Neelam Singh
She made her debut with Shrabani Deodhar in Silsila Hai Pyar Ka, and is also
working in tele-serials such as Koshish, Ek Aasha and Saans. A brief chat with the focussed young girl...

Your nick name: Neelu

B’day: November 11

Zodiac sign: Scorpio

How long is it since you first wanted to become an actress?
I was born with the dream, I guess. Primarily, ever since I smelt the essence of glamour and got to know more about the glitter in the industry, I’ve yearned to be a part of it.

Do you believe in destiny?

Immensely. I also believe there is a God up there to help and guide me whenever I need it.

Your greatest passion in life?

Work. I’m dedicated to work. I want to work 30 days a month.

When depressed, what’s the first thing you do?
I hunt for happiness, for being depressed leads me nowhere. Why not try to be happy, instead?

With whom or how would you share your happiness?

With my family, at a small, private get-together, or at a cinema.

Who would you rate as your mentor?
Myself. Creating a place for myself in the industry was a challenge. Yet, I’ve managed to come up trumps.

How important is music in your life?
I do listen to quite a lot of music. But I’m far too involved with the struggles of life.

Express yourself in just one word or sentence.
Sasta, sunder, tikaau. Or may be, sincere, sensible and optimistic.
