Footage of the annual pilgrimage includes stunning underwater photography and up-close images of the whales and their interaction with Reeve and his entourage. The program was filmed prior to the tragic accident that left Christopher Reeve paralysed. It is narrated by Stephen Collins, a close friend of Reeve, who was asked by Reeve to step in for him and tell his story.

This program explores the worlds of bees and wasps from solitary to social. Viewers get a glimpse into the world of bees and wasps hidden from human’s view. The jewelled wasp in Asia is filmed as it carefully measures and trims the antennae of its cockroach prey, so that it can use them as reins to lead the cockroach into its hole. Viewers see wasps erupting from the dying bodies of caterpillars — all females apart from one male whose job is to fertilise the females before dying.
