Background score for Officer
The entire dubbing of FA Films’ Officer was completed recently at Aradhana and the recording of the background score was held from October 6 at Geetanjali. A Bombino presentation, the film stars Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Pramod Moutho, Himani Shivpuri, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Shahbaaz Khan, Shiraj Khan, Babloo Mukherjee, Shehzaad Khan, Monty Nath, Tej Sapru and Danny Denzongpa. Being produced by Farooque Nadiadwala and written and directed by Naeem Sha, the film has cinematography by V Shaukat, action by Rashid Mehta, art by Ratnakar Phadke, sound by P Raman, editing by Dilip-Zafar and music by Rajesh Roshan.

Sonali Kulkarni signed

Sonali Kularni has been signed to play the lead opposite Chandrachur Singh in Kshitij Creation’s Production No.1, produced by Roopa Shetty and directed by Sanjay Kanna. An Humayun Rangilla presentation, it has music by Aadesh Srivastava and lyrics by Nida Fazli. Sunil Thadani is the executive producer.

Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe

Writer-director Vinay Shukla commenced a 30-day shooting schedule of Boney Kapoor’s Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe from October 4 at Hyderabad featuring all the artists. This film introduces Esha Deol opposite Aftab Shivadasani in the lead with Sanjay Kapoor playing a negative role for the first time. Jaya Bachchan plays a central character in the film. Music by Rajesh Roshan, lyric by Ibrahim Ashq-Dev Kohli-Surya Bhanu Gupta, cinematography by Rajen Kothari and dances by Ahmed Khan are the other major credits of the film. Trilok Malhotra is the executive producer the film being made under the banner of S.K. Film’s Enterprises. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher has been signed to play a very important role in the film. The film is a Surinder Kapoor presentation.

Narvekar-Manjrekar team up

Sanjay Narvekar and Mahesh Manjrekar, the actor-director duo of Vaastav, teamed up yet again for Time’s Sunil Shetty-Neha starrer. Sanjay makes a comic appearance in the film and a song was shot on him during the recently held in the Goa schedule. Narvekar has also been signed by Manjrekar for two of his forthcoming ventures besides being cast by David Dhawan in Jodi No.1 and Goldie Behls’ Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai.

Nayak,The real hero progresses

Director Shankar commenced a 20-day shooting schedule of Nayak The Real Hero in and around Mumbai, Panchgani and Poona from October 1. Many emotional scenes, songs and action scenes are being picturised during the schedule being participated by all artistes. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Amrish Puri, Pooja Batra, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Shivaji Satam, Saurabh Shukla with Sushmita Sen in a special appearance. The film has story-screenplay by Shankar himself, music by AR Rahman, lyrics by Anand Bakshi, cinematography by KV Anand, dialogues by Anurag Kashyap, editing by B Lenin and VT Vijayan, art by Thotta Tharani and action by Kanal Kannan. The film is produced by AM Rathnam.

Kab? Kyon? Kahan?

The third and fourth song for Triple AAR Movies Kab? Kyon? Kahan? was recorded on October 5-6 at Sound City. The song penned by Faaiz Anwaar were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Alka Yagnik under the baton of music director Nikhil Vinay. The film introduces Reema Puri, in the female lead alongwith by Jaya Seal. Being produced by Ramesh Sharma and directed by Anil Mattoo, the film has screenplay by Suthanu Gupta, cinematography by Sanjay Malvankar, action by Bhiku Verma, art by Sudhakar Manjrekar and editing by Kuldeep Mehan.

Daku Maharani

Producer Vimal Jains’ Daku Maharani, being made under the banner of Nishu Arts, is all set for release on October 20. The film stars Satnam Kaur, Roma, Kiran Kumar, Deepak Shirke, Anil Nagrath, Shiva, Ali Khan, Joginder and Ramesh Goel. Other credits are script by Prem Kumar Sharma, cinematography by RM Shah, action by Riyaz Sultan, music by Sawan Kumar Sawan and choreography by Riyaz Sultan.

Chori Chori

Music director Sajid-Wajid recorded the third song for Om Shakti Combine’s Chori Chori at Mehboob Recording from October 4 to 6. Penned by Anand Bakshi, it was sung by Alka Yagnik. Writer-director Milan Luthria will commence a week-long shooting spell from October 21 to 28 at different locations in Mumbai during which important scenes will be filmed on Ajay Devgan, Rani Mukerji and Mushtaq Khan. Produced by Lalit Kapoor and Raju Narula, the film also features Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Shashikala, Virendra Saxena, Shama Deshpande and Mehernosh Doctor. It has cinematography by Manmohan Singh, choreography by Raju Khan, art by Anil Mishra and set designing by Nimita Sheth.

Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare in Mumbai

Producer-director Harmesh Malhotra has already commenced a 12-day shooting schedule for Eastern Films’ Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare from October 2 at Hiranandani Complex, Kamal Anrohi Studios and Darya Mahal in Versova wherein Govinda, Raveena Tandon, Kader Khan, Asrani, Johnny Lever, Razzak Khan, Prem Chopra, Sharad Saxena along with stuntmen are participating. Based on a story and screenplay by Rajeev Kaul and Praful Parekh, the film has dialogues by Anwar Khan, cinematography by Shyam Rao, music by Anand -Milind, lyrics by Sameer, art by R Varman, editing by Govind Dalwadi, thrills by Mahendra Verma and sound by Vinod Potdar. Ram Singh is the production executive.

Bachelors dubbed in Hindi

The first print of Sana Creations’ Bachelors (in English and partly in Hindi) is out. It is the dubbed version of the Telugu film starring Shivaji, Satya, Zakir Khan, Sumit Roy, Manya, Shehita, Hiranmayi, Tanuja, Tanekalla, Bharani, Chalaapathi Rao, MS Narayana, Dharamaverapu Subramanium and Duvvasi Mohan. Shot completely in Hyderabad, the film is produced and directed by Sana Yadireddy from his own concept. It has screenplay, story and dialogue by Ravi Chavati, cinematography by Vijay C Kumar, music by Sashipreetham, art by Raju and choreography by Swarnababu.

Inth Ka Jawab Patthar

A five-day shooting spell for MS Movies Combines’ Inth Ka Jawab Patthar is being held from October 20 at various locales of Panvel and Mumbai wherein writer-director Mithu Singh will picturised action, emotion and talkie portions on Pramod Moutho and two songs on Puru Rajkumar and Divya Dutta. Being directed by Mithu Singh for producer Devendra Singh, the film also stars Vishwajeet, Sikandar Khan and Ali Khan. Music is by Ram Laxman.

Jalladon Ka Jallad

The entire post production work of the Goodluck Films’ Jalladon Ka Jallad started from September 5 at Evershine Studio. Starring Dharmendra, Nirmal Pandey, Shiva, Hemangi, Raza Murad and Kadar Khan, it has cinematography by Mansoor Siddique and music by Amod Bhatt. This is a film by MN Gulam Navi.

Jai Mahalkali

A four-major shooting spell for Aryan Productions’ Jai Mahakali was completed on October 8 at Madh Island, Film City and the various location of Mumbai wherein producer-director Pankaj Tripathi canned important, emotional and action scenes on Vilas Raj, Naresh Punjabi, Pooja Dadhwal, Raza Murad and Rajnichandra. It also stars Amit Pachori, Prithvi, Durgesh Nandani, Anjali, Deepak Shirke, Naresh Punjabi, Shiva, Birbal, Praveen Bali, RN Sonker, Veer Singh, Dev Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Ashok Punjabi and Master Abhishek Sharma. Produced and directed by Pankaj R Tripathi, the film is written by Naresh Punjabi (Delhiwala) and has cinematography by Hasmukh Rajput and music by Ravindra Jain.

Avgat
During a five-day shooting stint held at Film City, director Mohan Sharma canned a song choreographed by Hemu Sinha and some dramatic scenes for Ambe Arts maiden venture Avgat. Based on the concept of Sunil Thakur, the film has screenplay and dialogue by Praveen Raj. Ajinkya Deo, Nethra Raghuraman, Uday Tikekar, Shraddha Kaul and Sayaji Shinde participated in the schedule. Surendra Kohli has composed the music for the lyrics of Narendra Banjara while Carlton D’Mello is the cinematographer, sound by Bhagat Singh Rathore, art by Smita Gupta and Salim Syed and editing by Sanjay Jaiswal are the other credits of this film which is almost ready.

Great Target

One of the top models Roshni Batra makes her debut in films with producer Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh’s Great Target opposite newfind Pramod, a blackbelt. Being made under the banner of Shreeman Films, the film is directed by Rajiv Dhirendra and has music by Ghulam Al Chander.

Nagar Pita

Writer-producer ML Bhaskar has announced ML Bhaskar Films’ Nagar Pita, being directed by Rajesh Bakshi. The cast and other credits of the film are being finalised.

Shola Aur Barood

The first final print of producer Sarabjit Chaudhary (Sunny) and director-Teerat Singhs’ Shola Aur Barood was out recently from Rauko Labs. Being made under the banner of JK Movies Internationals’, the film stars Satnam Kaur, Amit Pachori, Rani Sinha, Dinesh Hingoo, Anil Nagrath, Harish Patel, Ishrat Ali, Kiran Kumar and Shakti Kapoor. A Jagdish Chaudhary Presentation, the film has music by Dheeraj Sen, script by PK Sharma and action by Riaz Sultan.

Zakhmi Sherni Bhooka Sher

Marathon shooting schedule for Savitri Internationals’ Zakhmi Sherni Bhooka Sher commenced from October 6 at Film City, Chandivali Studio and locales of Mumbai wherein all the seven songs will be picturised alongwith some dramatic sequences. Music director Abhiraj recorded the songs at Paramount Recording Studio from September 28 to October 4 which were penned by Afsar and Surinder Kuku Kapoor. Written, produced and directed by Surinder Kuku Kapoor and co-produced by Asha Kapoor, the film stars Dharmendra, Sikander, Madhubala, Ranveer Raj, Nargis, Shakti Kapoor, Kiran Kumar, Mohan Joshi, Raza Murad, Rami Reddy, Deepak Shirke, Bharat Kapoor, Shiva, Reema and Reeta Bhaduri.

Aakhri Intequam

Guru Kripa Art International’s Production No.1 has been titled Aakhri Intequam. The entire shooting of the film is now complete after a 35-day shooting stint held recently at Basra Studios, Madh Island, Lokhandwala Bridge, Nagi Villa, MBC Studios, Esel Studios and on locales in Mumabi. Produced by Dr. Saiyad Ali Bakshi, the film stars Sudesh Berry, Anu Kashyap, Amit Pachori, Jeetendra Jeetu, Amita Nangia, Sangeeta, Shakti Kapoor, Mac Mohan, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Barqat Ali, Johny Nirmal, Sanjay Swaraaj, Rajesh Bakshi and Raza Murad. Lyrics by Anant Bechain, music by Aroop Pranay and Sawan Kumar Sawan, cinematography by Dinesh K Thakkar, dances by Dinesh Balraj and editing by Tarsem Badhan are the other credits.

Maut Ki Aandhi

Producer Chandan Kumar launched Chandan Films’ Maut Ki Aandhi on September 29 at Essel Studios with a muhurat which was followed by a ten-day shooting stint at various locales of Mumbai. The film is being directed by Rajesh Bakshi and stars Amit Pachori, Anu Kashyap, Jeetendra Jeetu, Upma Shrivastava, Vijay Solanki, Mac Mohan, Ali Khan, Anil Nagrath, Barqat Ali, Birbal, Sanjay Swaraaj, Johny Nirmal, Ashok Soni, Rajesh Bakshi and Raza Murad. It has cinematography by Dinesh K Thakkar.

Ramya Krishna in Kiss

Ramya Krishna has been signed to play the female lead in Basava Saraswathi Creations’ Kiss. The film went on the floors on September 29 in Ooty with a 35-day shooting stint. Being produced and directed by G Venkataramana Reddy from his own story and dialogue, it has music by AB Murali, and cinematography by Guva Datta. Other cast and credits of the film will be from the Mumbai film industry. K Raghavendra Reddy is the executive producer.

Kalyug Ki Kali

Producer Cuckoo launched Leo Visions’ Kalyug Ki Kali on October 5 with the recording of its title song at Audio Villa. Penned by Shabbir, it was set to tune by Dulal Sen Gupta. The muhurat shot and a day-long shooting was held the same day. The cast and other credits of the film are being finalised. It is directed by Pappu Sharma and Nisar Shah.

Chehre Ke Peechey

Leo Visions’ Chehre Ke Peechey has been passed by the censors with an ‘A’ certificate and it is all set for release on October 27 all over. The film, produced by Cuckoo and written-edited and directed by debutantes Pappu Sharma and Nisar Shah, stars Poonam Das Gupta, Raza Murad, Joginder, Raahat, Ali Khan, Anil Nagrath, Sudhir, Shah Nawas, Abyhishak, Madan Dev, Raajeev Raaj and Rani Sinha in a special appearance. It has cinematography by Pramod Bhandari, lyrics and music by Suresh Sinha, and dances by Vicky Khan.

Yeh Hai Pyar Ka Mausam

The first print of ML Bhaskar Films’ Yeh Hai Pyar Ka Mausam is out. The film is being readied for November release all over. Written and produced by ML Bhaskar and directed by Rajesh Bakshi and stars Vijay Solanki, Upma Srivastava, Minoo Sharma, Ravi Singh, Rajat Bakshi, Ashok Soni, Kiran Thakkar and Rajesh Bakshi. It has lyrics by ML Bhaskar, music by Jasbir Jassi, action by Darshan Singh, and editing by Vishwanath Narvekar.

Mysterious Girl

The first print of Harika Enterprises’ Mysterious Girl (partly English and Hindi) is out. Being produced and directed by Abhinav (of South), it stars Uday, Vaniya, Maneck and Shobitha (all from South). It has music by Chaklish and cinematography by Ram Prasad (of Hyderabad Blues and Rockford fame).
