Writer-producer-director Ashok Patel’s Mahiyar Maru Lakhnu Saasru Sava Lakhnu mounted the sets at Rajpipla on September 28. Being made under the banner of Samrat Film Productions, the film stars Meenakshi, JD Majithia, Jeet Upendra, Mona Thiba, Deepak Dave, Seema Siddhu, Devendra Pandit and Arvind Rathod. Music and lyrics are by Amar Nawab, who will also play an important role in the film.

Gangani Film Productions’ Mayyar Ma Manadu Nathi Lagtu was recently launched with the recording of all its nine songs under the baton of music director Gaurang Vyas. The film is being written, produced and directed by Jaswant Gangani, who has also penned the lyrics. The singers who rendered the songs were Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam, Arvind Barot and Vatsala Patil. To be filmed in Cinemascope with Dolby digital sound mixing, the film is slated to go before the camera on November 1 on locations in Kutch, Rajasthan, Saputara and will also have an indoor stint at Lucky Studios at Halol. Rafiq Latif Sheikh is the cinematographer. The maker of the film is at present busy finalising the artistes for the film.

Filming completed barring

The entire shooting of New JK International’s Daldu Laagyu Saayba Na Desh Ma has been completed, barring its climax which will be filmed soon. Being produced by Kailash Devnani and directed by Jiten Parikh, the film stars Naresh Kanodia, Roma Manik, Devendra Pandit, Kalpana Diwan, Arvind Joshi, Bhavini Jani, Jayendra Mehta, Jaimini Trivedi, Nilesh Sukhadia, Keshto Iqbal, Tushar Vora and Shraddha Sharma. The story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics have been written by Jaswant Gangani, while the film’s music has been scored by Gaurang Vyas.

Dubbing in progress
Dubbing by the artistes of MZM Productions’ Sajan Main To Chundadi Odhi Tara Naam Ni is at present in progress in Mumbai. Jointly produced by Zoeb Latiwala, Mahendra Gowami and Mahendra Bohra, the film has been written and directed by Babubhai Latiwala. It stars JD Majithia, Mona Thiba, Alok Nath, Kunika, Rajeev Verma, Anjana Mumtaz, Mukesh Rawal, Sangeeta Bhargav, Hina Rajput, Bharti and Ramesh Mehta. Cinematographed by Sudarshan Naag, it has music by Gaurang Vyas.

Ame Ramakda Ram Na ready
for release
Kalika Chitra’s Ame Ramakda Ram Na is slated for early release at important centres in Gujarat and Saurashtra. It has been produced by Jaidev Barot and Bhava Bhai Mer. Written by Jaidev Barot and edited and directed by Prakash Jadav, the film stars Shrikant Soni, Kalyani Thakar, Arvind Kirad, Pankaj Goswami, Chandni, Chandrakant Pandya, Sameer Rajda and Keshto Iqbal, who has also written the lyrics and dialogues. Music is by Mahesh-Vinod.

Kanya Na Daan ... due soon
Shri Laxmi Narayan Films’ Kanya Na Daan Haiye Vaagya is another film which is slated for early release all over Gujarat. Produced by Arvind Patel and Narendra Gajjar, it has been directed by Susheel Vyas. It stars Rajshree, Sharmilee Raj, Tej Sapru, Sanjay Sharma, Arvind Kirad, Raza Murad, Rajnibala, Purnima, P Kharshani, Keshto Iqbal and Krishnakant. Lyrics penned by Keshav Rathod have been set to music by Bhupendra Patel. Cinematographed by Arup Hazra-Bhupendra Pandya, it has been written by Arvind Anand.
