Two biggies on October 27
Diwali Day, October 27 will see two major releases. The first is Yash Chopra’s Mohabbatein, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and six new comers among whom is Uday Chopra, Yash Chopra’s youngest son. The film is directed by Aditya Chopra of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge fame. The second, Mission Kashmir, is produced and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and has Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan and Jackie Shroff in key roles.


Ravi Dewan turns producer

Ace fight director Ravi Dewan, who made his debut as director with Vinashak has now launched Suryoday Productions. He launched his first film, which he will also direct, Anarth, (disaster), on October 5, his birthday. Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Ashutosh Rana and Ashish Vidyarthi play key roles. The film, which has story by Dewan himself, has music by Anand Raaj Anand.


Boney signs Anupam
Anupam Kher has been signed to play an important role in Boney Kapoor’s Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe. The film, a 30-day shoot for which is now in progress in Hyderabad, is being produced by Surinder Kapoor and directed by Vinay Shukla.

50 days of Hamara Dil...
Boney Kapoor’s Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai has completed its 50-day run at many centres all over the world. Starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Sonali Bendre in lead roles, the film is produced by Surinder Kapoor and directed by Satish Kaushik. It has music by Sanjeev-Darshan.

Hrithik endorses breast-feeding
Hrithik Roshan is all set to promote breast-feeding in a country-wide campaign along with some 50,000 doctors wearing blazers with the slogan “You can always tell a mom’s milk, baby.” Novartis Nutrition India is sponsoring the campaign to spread awareness that mother’s milk is best for babies.
