Bhai Thakur
Producer Ramesh K Doshi and director-duo Willy Raja have completed the entire editing work by editor Prakash Kothari for RD Films’ Bhai Thakr held at PK Editing Room in Mumbai till September 21. Dharmendra plays the title role of Bhai Thakur. The film also stars Upasna Singh, Amit Pachori, Roma, Shakti Kapoor, Pooja Roy, Shiva, Dinesh Hingu, Gurubachan and Joginder. Cinematography by Ashok Rao, story by Raja Awasthi and Siddiquee Durrani, music by Naresh Shivram, lyrics and screenplay by Siddiquee Durrani and choreography by Kanu Mukherjee and Pappu Khanna are the other credits.

Piya Milan
JS Film Makers have announced their maiden Hindi venture Piya Milan to be written and directed by Mahesh Gaud and jointly produced by Jaya Dutto and Surekha Prasad. Starring Tanveer Khan, Indu Raj, Pradip, Moon Moon, Manisha, Sheonath, Brahmpal Robin Ghosh and Vijay, it has music by Babu Rohit, dances by Kartik Prasad and lyrics by SP Singh. Other supporting cast and credits are being finalised. The film will mount the sets in Calcutta with a start-to-finish shooting schedule in November. Jamal Ansari presents the film.

Shohrat Ki Bhookh
The entire editing work of MGN Films’ Shohrat Ki Bhookh was completed recently. Dubbing will start soon. The film stars Satnam Kaur, Prashant Dronavat, Rashmi Verma, Rahat, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Bhavna Rathod, G Ghanshyam, Hemant Agrawal, Rakesh Choti, Sharad Chatuvei, Pulkit, Vipul Rathod, Anup Kumrawat, Dilip Hinge and Raza Murad. Being produced and directed by Irfan Chaudhary, it has story by Rajesh Taski, screenplay by Shakeer Indori-Rajendra Rathod, dialogues by Rizu Chandrayan and cinematography by Shyamal Chakravarty.

Aashanka
The entire unit of Mangalam Movies Internationals’ Aashanka returned to Mumbai from Sonepat (Haryana) on September 21 after completing a 12-day shooting stint. Prateek Shandelya, Kirti Shetty, Seema Shinde, Shrawan Kumar, Meena, Tariq, Raju Pandit and S Sharma participated in this stint. Kishore Bhanushali, Mahesh Raj and Birbal are also in the cast. Written and directed by Kumar Vikal and produced by Shrawan Kumar, it has music by Baba-Jagirdar, art by Shammi Tiwari and cinematography by Arya Sen.

Queen of Khajuraho
Producer Ajay Kumar and director Pappu Behruz held a ten-day shooting schedule from September 27 for their Hindi feature film Queen Of Khajuraho at places at Khajuraho wherein romantic and dramatic scenes are being picturised on all the artistes. The film stars Kirti Shetty, Sunita, Meenakshi, Mushtaaq Khan and Aman Sagar. Being made under the banner of Ambika Films, it has music by Parveen Kumar.

Dayen
The start-to-finish shooting schedule of Suraj Cine Visions’ Dayen was completed recently at Ratnadeep Resort, Naigaon and other Mumbai locales. With this, the entire shooting of the film has been completed. Being produced by Suraj Kediya and cinematographed and directed by Arun Kumar, the film is written and has story-screenplay by Sanjay Kumar and dialogues by SK Gupta. The film stars Jeetendra Shrimali, Madhuri, Yunus Parvez, Shammi Saxena, Moon Moon, Noor Bhai, Vijay Sony, SN Chaudhary, Prashant Mantendkar and S Madan. Arun Kediya is the co-producer.

Kaali
Producer Kajal Mukherjee and editor-director Jitendra Chawda are executing the last six-day shooting schedule from October 1 for Ishwar Films’ Kaali at different locales in and around Mumbai. During this concluding spell, all the artistes are participating. It stars Durgesh Nandini, Satnam Kaur, Prithvi, Kiran Kumar, Mohan Joshi, Shakti Kapoor, Shahzad Khan, Ishrat Ali, Razaak Khan and Rami Reddy. Sawan Kumar Sawan has provided the musical score while Basheer Babar has written the dialogues.

Salim Jaffer signed
Producer Ajay R Shah has signed Salim Jaffer to write the script for his Grishma Films tentatively titled Durga Bhawani, to be directed by Ajay Shah-Nand Kishore. Meanwhile starcast and other technical crew is being finalised.

Jai Mahakali
A two-day spell for Aryan Productions’ Jai Mahakali was completed on September 28 and 29 at Sunrise Bungalow, Film City and the various locations of Mumbai. Producer-director Pankaj Tripathi canned important emotional and action scenes on Raza Murad and Rajnichandra. The film also stars Amit Pachori, Prithvi, Durgesh Nandani, Ajnali, Deepak Shirke, Naresh Punjabi, Shiva, Birbal, Praveen Bali, RN Sonker, Veer Singh, Dev Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Ashok Punjabi and Master Abishek Sharma.. Being produced and directed by Pankaj R Tripathi and written by Naresh Punjabi (Delhiwala), the film has cinematography by Hasmukh Rajput and music by Ravindra Jain. With this, the film is 40 per cent complete.

Daku Kali Bhawani
The entire post production work of Goodluck Films’ Daku Kali Bhawani was completed at Film City and the first copy will be out soon from Adlabs. Starring Dharmendra, Nirmal Pandey, Anu Kashyap, Anil Nagrath, Master Faiz, Gurbachan, Pinky Shenoy and Raza Murad, the film is directed by SR Pratap for producer MN Gutam Nabi. Music is by Sanjiv Kohli. The film is ready for release on October 27.

Phoolan Bai
The first copy of Goodluck Films’ Phoolan Bai was out from Quality Lab recently and the film is ready for release on October 27. A film by MN Gulam Ali, it stars Usha Raj, Harshad, Anil Nagrath, SR Pratap, Joginder, Raza Murad and Kiran Kumar.

Chehra Maut Ka
The dubbing of GEE VEE Films Combines’ Chehra Maut ka commenced recently at Film City. The film, being produced by NC Vasani and directed by Indar Kumar Gupta, stars Rani Sinha, Mamta Singh, Bhavana, Sonia, Kripali, Chetan Kumar, Juggal Nayak, Dev Dutt and Prashant Jaisal, Mahesh Raj, Janardhan Mishra, Dinesh Bagdi, Budhaeo, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Mac Mohan and Kiran Kumar. Written by JK Ahuja, the film has cinematography by Naren Gedia and Tapan, dances by Sailesh Koli, action by Riaz Sultan, art by Baban Bavelekar, editing by Prakash Kothare, lyrics by Pradeep Trivedi and Taj Akhtar and music by K.N. Jha.

Kishan Kaaliyaa
Azmi Production’s Kishan Kaaliya was shot another four days at Survey Farm House and Panvel outdoor after which the film is almost 40 per cent complete. Being produced and directed by Majeed Azmi, the film has music by Paresh Parikh, lyrics by Ravi Chopra and Manoj Darpan, cinematography by Shyamal Chakravarthy, dances by Ganesh, Kamalnath and Dravid and action by Nasir Khan. Nirmal Panday, Nilima Azim, Imran Khan, Kiran Kumar, Razza Murad, Mushtaq Khan, Arun Bakshi, Achut Potdar, Shulu Shailendra, Shiva, Guru Bachchan, Anil Nagrath, Mahesh Raj and Inshrat Ali are in cast of the film. Two leading lady will be finalised very shortly. All the seven songs of the film have already been recorded in voices of Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhosle, Sapna Awasthi, Pamila, Mohd Salamat and Anupama Savant. Another ten-day shooting spell is currently on at Swapna Nagari and Surve farm house Panvel from October 3.

Shabnam Bani Shola
The entire shooting of Sainath Internationals’ Shabnam Bani Shola is completed and now the film is on the editing table at Thankur Editing. The film is produced by Raj Arora and directed by Sunny Kapoor, has music by Parveen Kumar, lyrics by Raj Arora and Parveen Kumar, cinematography by Manish-Jahangir, dances by Makdum Shikh, Ram Devan and Kausar and fight by Riyaz Sultan. Satnam Kaur, Shyam Chadda, Aman Sagar, Rani Sinha, Kiran Kumar, Shezad Khan, KK Goswami, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Rajni, Vinod Tripathi, Titu Singh and Mohan Joshi comprise the major starcast of the film.

Khabri
Producer Mohd Ibrahim has signed director M Saadique Khan to direct Kabeer Productions’ Khabri. Written by Aleem Ahmed, it has music by Nazakat-Sujaat, lyrics by Shabbir and A Rehman Saaz and action by Hanif Khan. The flm was launched on October 4 and was followed by a start-to-finish schedule at Ooty and Coimbatoor. Rest of the credits and entire star cast will announced soon.

Zakhmi Sherni Bhookha Sher
Producer-director Surender Kuku Kapoor started his next venture for Savitri Internationals’ titled Zakhmi Sherni Bhookha Sher from October 6 to 11 at Gateway of India, Juhu Beach, Film City and locales of Mumbai. Music director Abhiraj recorded songs from September 28 at Paramount Studio in the voices of Mohd. Aziz, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jaspinder Narula, Sharbani Seth and Kavita Soni. Lyrics were penned by S.K. Kapoor and Afsar. The film stars Dharmendra, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Deepak Shirke, Moon Moon Sen, Rita Bhaduri, Shakti Kapoor and newfinds Sikander and Madhubala.

Hello Girls
Dance director Vikey Khan picturised two songs on lead pair Rohit and Kirti Sharma alongwith group dancers for Saraswati Arts maiden venture Hello Girls on September 23 and 24 at Film City. The film also stars Laxmikant Berde, Raza Murad, Tej Sapru, Anil Nagrath, Gurbachan, Sheela Mishra, Rekha, Sonali, Ratna, Kirit Thakkar and Anu. Produced by Aruna Sharma and directed by Ravi Kumar, the film has music by Babu Kishan, lyrics by PK Chanchal and cinematography by Manish Jahangir. Nirmala Kalludi presents the film.

Pyaar Ka Safar
