Ek Rishtaa-The Bond Of Love
After completing a 15-day shooting spell of Shree Krishna International’s Ek Rishtaa-The Bond Of Love on different locations in Pune and Mumbai, another marathon stint is currently progressing at a specially erected sets at Natraj Studios and different locations in Mumbai. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla, Karisma Kapoor, Mohnish Bahl, Simone Singh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Anang Desai, Malay Chakraborty, Brijesh Hirjee, Kanika Kohli, Mayur, Sharat Saxena and Shakti Kapoor. Being produced and directed by Suneel Darshan from his own story, it has screenplay by SM Ahale, cinematography by Robin Bhatt, dialogue by KK Singh, music by Nadeem-Shravan, lyrics by Sameer, editing by Sanjay Sankla, art by Bijon Das Gupta, action by Abbas and cinematography by Sameer Reddy.

Panchhi now progressing in USA
A marathon 25-day shooting schedule of NS Films International’s Panchhi is currently progressing on different locations in USA wherein director Parto Ghosh is picturising four songs, many romantic, dramatic and action scenes. The film stars Manoj Bajpai, Mahima Chaudhary, Vikram Saluja, Biswajeet, Malay Chakraborty, Brijesh, Ahshan Khan, Varun Vardhan, Sharad Kapoor and newfind Punarnava. Being produced by Dr Yati Singhal, it has story by Ranbir Pushp, screenplay by Pradeep Ghatak and Ranbir Pushp, dialogue by Anwar Khan, music by Rajesh Roshan, lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq and Dev Kohli, action by Kala Singh, art by Leela Dhar Sawant, sound by Prakash Bhatia, editing by R Rajendran, choreography by Chinni Prakash and cinematography by Rajendra Prasad. After this, the film will be 70 per cent complete.

Champion on Oct 27
Sujit Kumar’s action-thriller Champion will be releasing on October 27. Being directed by debutante Padam Kumar, the film stars Sunny Deol, Manisha Koirala, Master Abhishek, Deepak Parashar, Padmini Kapila, Vikram Gokhale, Dina Pathak, Surinder Pal, Rakesh Pandey, Vivek Shauq, Tom Alter, Anil Nagrath and Kashmira Shah. It introduces supermodel Rahul Dev in a negative role. Written by Padam Kumar, it has music by Anu Malik, Anand Raj Anand and Vishal-Shekhar, lyrics by Javed Akhtar, Nitin Raikwar and Vinay Bihari, screenplay by Padam Kumar, NK Maharajan and Vijay Shetty-Venkatesh, dialogues by Sanjay Masoom, cinematography by S Thiru, action by Tinnu Varma, editing by Shirish Kunder, art by Raghavan and Ashok Samanta and choreography by Ahmed Khan, Raju Sunderam and Ganesh Acharya. It is a Vinod Chawla presentation.

Yeh Dil Aashiqana

The seventh song for AK Internationals’ Yeh Dil Aashiqana was recorded on September 25 and 26 at Sunny Super Sounds. Penned by Sameer, and tuned by music director Nadeem-Shravan, this qawwali number, was rendered by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Taufeeq Akhtar and Sabri Brothers. Produced by Aroona Irani and directed by Kuku Kohli, the film introduces a new romantic pair. Others in the credits include cinematography by Baba Azmi and choreography by Farah Khan.

Aashna Arts’ Prod. No.1 progressing

A ten-day shooting stint for Aashna Arts’ Prod. No.1 commenced from October 1 on a huge set erected at Mehboob Studios and also at various Mumbai locales. Directed by Harry Baweja for producer Kaushal Godha, the film stars Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Karisma Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Ashutosh Rana. It has story by Atul Sharma, screenplay-dialogue by Karan Razdan, cinematography by Nirmal Jani, action by Tinu Verma, art by R. Varman, sound by Narinder Singh and music by Sanjeev Darshan.

Anupam Kher in Jaal The Trap

Anupam Kher who has been added to the cast of Parth Productions’ Jaal The Trap participated in a week-long shooting schedule in different parts of Mumbai along with Sunny Deol, Tabu, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal and Kishori Kulkarni. Jackie Shroff also plays an important role in the film, which is being directed by Guddu Dhanoa for producer Vinod Shah. Music by Anand Raj Anand, lyrics by Sameer, cinematography Shripad Natu, story-screenplay by Rajiv Kaul and Praful Parikh and dialogue by Dilip Shukla are other credits. Three songs of the film have already been recorded.

Border Hindustan Ka in Agra, Delhi

The entire unit of Jayshree Productions’ Border Hindustan Ka left for Kulu Manali, Agra and Delhi on September 24, for a non-stop 35-day marathon shooting spell wherein many romantic, dramatic, emotional, thrilling sequences and songs are being canned on the entire starcast. Meanwhile five songs of the film have already been recorded by music directors Dilip Kishen and Hari Kishen. Penned by Tahir Ambalvi, the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamoorthy, Jaspinder Narula and Sonu Nigam. Being produced by HS Taneja and directed by Yogesh Bharadwaj, the film stars Faisal Khan, Priya Gill, Rajat Bedi, Aditya Pancholi, Mink, Ashish Vidyarthi, Dalip Tahil, Mushtaq Khan, Dara Singh and Sudesh Berry. Written by S Sachindra, it has cinematography by Karim Khatri, action by Prem Sharma, choreography by Saroj Khan and Ricky James and editing by Sanjay Varma. On conclusion of this spell, the entire shooting of the film will be completed.

Mahaan

Producer PL Ahuja has completed the entire dubbing and mixing work for Ambika Films’ Mahaan held at Prasad Studios Chennai till September 21. The first copy of the film will be out shortly. Starrin Rajnikant, Vijay Shanti and Khushboo in the lead role, the film has music by Sawan Kumar Sawan and lyrics by Rajesh Ahuja. The original version has been directed by P Vasu.

Muthu

Producer Ajay Kumar has completed the dubbing of six songs for Ambika Films’ Muthu at Prasad Studios, Chennai from September 10 to 15 under the baton of music director AR Rahman. Hariharan, Udit Narayan, Bala Subramaniam, Mano, Chitra and Vani Jairam rendered their voice. Lyrics were written by PK Mishra. The film stars Rajnikant and Meena in the lead role. Muthu is a PL Ahuja presentation.

Scouting locations for Parwana

Producer-director Deepak Bahry has left for UK, USA and Canada for location scouting for his Ajay Devgan-Amisha starrer Parwana.
