At Lahori’s house. Rohan is in possession of the house. All of Lahori’s family has been ousted. Ahmed tries to starangle Rohan for his duplicity but a police inspector stops him. Lahori has a heart attack. As he falls on the ground, Ahmed tries to go to him, but is arrested for attempted murder of Rohan. Lahori’s family cluster around him. Guddi is angry with Rohan and slaps him and debunks his actions.

Inder comes running to his house and informs Kapoor and Gayatri about the calamity. In hospital Lahori hovers between life and death. Dr Mehta attends on him.All are anxious. They pray for his recovery. Lahori regains consciousness. Dr Mehta says the danger has passed. Lahori sees everyone except Ahmed. He asks about him. They are compelled to tell him he is in jai. Hearing this Lahori is distressed. Gayatri says Kapoor has gone to the lock up to bail him out. Ahmed comes to the hospital. Both friends look at each other, ,emotionally. Lahori wants to speak and apologise for doubting Ahmed, but Ahmed stops him. They hug each other.

Soumitra strikes a deal with Preeti to return back to Vijay when she arrives to plead with her to give a false statement to the cops in order to save Vijay’s life. Soumitra is discharged from the hospital and Vijay too is released from the jail. Vijay arrives at Chowdhary’s house to take Preeti back; but she refuses to return back under the influence of her father. Soumitra advises Vijay not to divorce Preeti and torture her. Vishaaka finally decides to leave Vijay’s house and return back to Rajasthan.

In autumn, the number of visitors to the zoo usually decreases, but this year the public has a new attraction to come and see - Jomie the male gorilla. The keepers are hoping that they will be able to breed gorillas and Jomie will soon be introduced to two females. The maintenance team has been put to work building as Santa’s grotto and are having trouble with their reindeer. And the glaziers have to mend a pane in the gorilla enclosure in case Jomie shatters it when he is showing off to his new ladies. Invertebrate keeper Rachel Jones is pleased with the drop in temperature as she feels it will benefit the incredibly rare field crickets she is trying to breed.
