Kaun banega careerpati at Go4careers.com’s fair?
Go4careers.COM, launched a month ago in Mumbai as a vortal of Go4I.com, will be drawing revenues offline as well as online. The brick and mortar offices, now fully operational in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai, will help in facilitating screening of candidates before they are recommended to the companies.

"The benefits of online and offline recruitment will be combined to provide optimum satisfaction to the corporate and individual applicants," Go4careers CEO Ajit Isaac said.

Based on research, Go4careers.com has identified two models of operation. One is the market place model which enables the posting of vacancies by corporates and the fulfilment model where the back-end brick and mortar processing capability ensures that the right recruiter meets the right candidates.

Meanwhile, Go4careers.com is also organising a career fair in Chennai on August 19 and 20 which is expected to have 20 corporates participating and 10,000 to 15,000 candidates walking in. This will be a fair with a difference in the sense that Go4careers would have screened the candidates before he walks into the fair. The candidate would have his resume matched with the requirements of the corporates and he would have his appointments fixed with interested corporates on those two days. This would lead to a quick focussed recruitment, with both parties being satisfied, Isaac said.

An innovative campaign -- ‘Kaun Banega Careerpati’ is expected to draw a sizeable number of participants.

Go4Careers was capitalised at $2 million with $1 million already in its coffers. The portal has been set up as a joint venture between Stanton Chase International India Operations and go41.com. The site is expected to break even in the first year (excluding money spent on brand promotion). It has also linked up with Aptech’s ISP arm and with Zeenext to get a wider reach.
