33-day shoot for Boney film

Boney Kapoor will start a 33-day shoot for Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in Rajasthan and Hyderabad. Produced by Surinder Kapoor and directed by Vinay Shukla, the film stars Jaya Bachchan, Aftab Shivdasani, Esha Deol, Sanjay Kapoor and Om Puri, and has music by Rajesh Roshan..


David directs Govinda, Sush
Producers Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and director David Dhawan have begun a 20-day shoot for Shri Siddhivinayaka Films maiden production in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. Starring Govinda and Sushmita Sen, the film has music by Anu Malik.


Month-long shoot for Aashiq

Producer Anil Sharma and director Indra Kumar have begun a month-long shoot for Shweta International’s Aashiq in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Starring Bobby Deol and Karisma Kapoor, the film has music by Sanjeev-Darshan.


Shringar to release Taxi
Shringar Films is all set to release the French featurefilm, Taxi in India. The story of a former pizza-delivery man, the film is directed by Grand Pives.


Lankan film fest in Mumbai

The Sri Lankan consulate general, in association with the Indo-Sri Lanka Society and Prabha Chitra Mandal will organise a Sri Lanka film festival from August 28 to 31. This will be the first such festival in Mumbai.


Kurukshetra on editing table

Time Movies’ Kurukshetra is now being edited at Adlabs, Mumbai. Produced by Pravin Shah, and presented by Nanibhai Shah, the film stars Sanjay Dutt and Mahima Chowdhury and has music by Himesh Reshammiya.

The Darshans re-unite
The filmmaker duo of Suneil Darshan and Dharmesh Darshan have re-united after a long time. The duo who hit the bigtime with Lootere have decided to sink their differences and work together in future. It is learnt that Dharmesh, who directed Dhadkan recently, will direct a film for Suneil which will mount the sets shortly.
