 Ellora in Mira Nair’s next Ellora Patnaik, a Toronto based classical dancer and character actress plays a lead role in director Mira Nair’s next film titled My Own Country. The film was shot in Toronto and the post production took place in Nair’s home-base in Cape Town, with its sound track being fine-tuned in Los Angeles. The film will hopefully have a Cannes premiere, with its producers, Show Time Television, slating a National release in September. My Own Country sees Nair returning true to form in a film that conveys her insights into the migrant worlds of today.
